Hi everybody! We've a legacy application based on Clipper, very important for the company. And we want to share the database and program files through a samba server with Gentoo Linux. But, when the users mapping the resource with a Windows 98, 2K or XP client, the application run VERY VERY slow. Abeelabs Pagescript for clipper error "Unable to create file
Pagescript is a app that captures print from a old dos program (clipper) and sends it to a windows printer. The program starts ok, and get a print manager screen, but linux reports a file creation error. Pagescript is trying to create a spool file but can't. Everything works fine, but sometime of the day, the system just freeze, and nobody can start the clipper application until i restart the samba service. i dont know what's happening, maybe a different configuration between this

[PATCH] ./configure fails to recognize alphapca56 (R-1.1.0)
I think I reported this bug in the past. At that time, I was told that it is a bug of autoconf. ./configure does not recognize Linux on DEC Alpha 21164PC (a cheap version of Alpha EV56), so all the compilation flags were set incorrectly. I don't know the right way to fix it (I don't know how autoconf works yet ...), but the following patch fixes the problem. Thank you, Naoki Naoki
