Hi folks, I have been using Samba 2.2.2 on Solaris 7 happily for a while now. All of a sudden users can map other users home accounts without having to reauthenticate. The dialogue box to map as user doesn't even appear on Win 98/NT/2000. The facts: I added a pointer to a wins server a few weeks ago, but removing it doesn't seem to effect anything.(not that it should...) all my users

Hello people, I have been experiencing a weird problem with 4.8-STABLE for a long time. I was ignoring it, thinking that it was a problem with the SCSI disks or perhaps the contoller. I changed the disks from the original Intel box to a Compaq box and I still noticed the problem was there. What happened is that all of a sudden, the disk would 'fill' up with nothing! If you use Chrome, recent updates won't allow connections to an http server if the referring url is on an https server. I wonder how much additional CPU strain this causes when you have a few hundred plus listeners to encrypt everything.
