Smart html output for an object?
Hi, I''m trying to make it so that an object can be easily printed into
the html format I want. I''ve been focusing on using a case/when control
structure, so let me start by showing you some code... I was trying to
use this following code as a helper method,
def print_question(question)

Enhancement of wbinfo in samba2.2.6pre2
Hi,
Most of the samba-commands takes a option for smb.conf file
exept for wbinfo.
It should be nice to have that functionallity in wbinfo also.

nss_winbind does not recognize group membership
Hello,
There is FreeBSD-6.1 box with gcc 3.4.4 compiler (the default).
The box is a member of an ADS domain. Everything was working perfectly with
samba-3.0.22.
After upgrading it to samba-3.0.23_1 from FreeBSD ports collection, the
following problem appeared.
The system does not seem to recognize that a user is a member of some domain
group, and does not grant him
appropriate permissions. For

3.0.28 continuously dumping core
Hello all
Compiled 3.0.28 from source and get continuous core dumps. The machine
running as PDC continous to work though.
Core dumps are reproduceable and happen when, for example, I am trying
to connect to a share that does not exist as well as when I install a
new printer driver using the Microsoft wizard thing.
We are running two other machines with 3.0.28 without any core dumps at all.

connect to it - wait about 2 minutes and then get 'network is busy' message.
I suspect that my problems may lie somewhere in the multiple domains /
subnetting areas, but I can't see where.
Any comments will be welcome. TIA

I will get a smbd process started. (If this is incorrect please let me know
;)
But this morning I did a quick ps -ax on my machine and found *two* smbd -D
in the process list. But as far as I know there is no connection to the
samba server right now.
I did connect to and disconnect from the server yesterday but I would think
that that connection would have been released by now.
Can anyone

apply to this (security=domain) case, since auth is via the PDC.
So, shouldn't winbind_lookup_sid() be succeeding. Should I be
trying to track the failure in that code?
In case it's helpful, ldd /usr/sbin/smbd shows:
