Hi I can use Appleshare to see my Samba shares when the Mac OS9 and the Samba is in the same segment, but when I move my Mac to another segment separated by a Firewall (all ports open), I can't see my Samba shares? I have just seen a file called: /System/Library/Filesystems/AppleShare/sshHelper I wonder what will break, if I disable Apples own OpenSSH implementation. Would FileSharing not work anymore? Sirs, I hate to clutter your email with this inquiry, but I haven't been able to get info otherwise. I want to mount shares on an Microsoft XP Pro server on two Suns, Sparc running Solaris 2.6 and another Sparc running Solaris 8. What do I need for this??
