The programs are quickbooks, act, and access. Basically, all of my index files keep getting really hosed. I have to repair and rebuild files everyday. If I enable wins support = yes & I start smbd it starts smb & nmb. When I restart the service it says that there is no nmb service at 10045 running. When I do a ps -aux, you can still see the service running. They will keep building up until I manually delete them. Does anyone know how to fix this?

So, I got Quickbooks 2008 working in the latest WINE, and Ubuntu 11.04. Problems happen when I try and open an existing company file. It wants to update, and then updating fails, and then the whole shebang fails to load after that.
