Network Busy Error
I had a similar problem at one stage, which it appeared was the result of my
Linux system trying to resolve the clients name/ip address. I found this out
by switching off DNS search (on my RedHat Linux systems it was in
/etc/resolv.conf).
Anyway, I also use 192.168.x.x address on my internal network, so I made
sure my local DNS server was setup as the Primary DNS for the
168.192.in-addr.arpa

Mobiles not detecting as BUSY until Dial() timeout completes
I'm not sure if this is an Asterisk thing, a handset thing or a telco thing,
so please be gentle with me if this is not the right place to ask .....
When placing a call over a SIP channel to a mobile phone, if the phone is
engaged, it does not return a BUSY status straightaway. Rather, I get a
ringing-out tone for the timeout duration specified in the Dial() statement;
*then* I get

How can I know if a user is busy or not connected?
Hi,
I have defined several extensions.
For some of them, the phone can be disconnected for a period of time (mobile
users).
When a call is initiated to that extension, if the user is not connected at
that moment in time the caller see this as a busy extension.
How can I detect from the extensions.conf file if a user is busy or it is
not connected?
I want to execute different applications in those

busy tones
Hi
When I call a phone with CAPI if the phone available I hear ringing ok
but if the phone is busy I don't hear anything at all.
Also, when I call a mobile phone and it is turned off I don't hear the
operator voice answer me telling me that the request phone is turned off
or unavailable.
Any ideas?

Busy level in Asterisk 11
Hi
I need to set the number of incoming calls to one, but the outgoing calls
should be unlimited. I think the busylevel parameter is for it(incoming
calls), but not works. My config is:
cat sip.conf
[general]
[template](!)
qualify=yes
cc_agent_policy=generic
cc_monitor_policy=generic
call-limit=2
busylevel=1
callcounter=yes
subscribecontext = hint

Busy Lamp Field SIP Phone
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good SIP phone with a busy lamp
field? I need my operator to be able to see extension status for about
20 extensions and transfer via HOLD + extension button. I've got a pair
of SNOM 360s with the sidecar, but I'm very disappointed with them. The
buttons are cheap and rubbery like a Sipura 841, the handset cord is
short and cheap, the audio quality

[bristuff] returning a Busy to the telco?
Hi Kape,
Life is generally good with bristuff and the quadBRI cards. However I've
got a concern: how does one return a busy signal to the telco when all B
channels are busy? Right now, when all channels are in use, the remote
caller is kept waiting until the telco times out and finally get a busy
signal (on a land line) or error tone (mobile).
On the asterisk side here is the output:

* > Mobile Phone > Mobile Network
Ok I have a question. Seen it come and go around the mailling list for a
while but never really seen an answer that seems to sort it out.
What is needed is some interface from * > Mobile Phone > Mobile Network
Service.
At this point all the providers in AUS that I have found are charging a
Premium Rate for Land Line > Mobile Network services.
What I would like to do is be able to

Re: "INTx fd" busy error on VM startup at boot, subsequent startup okay
Hey Mike, did you ever have any success figuring out this issue? I am having the same problem (on CentOS 7) with a custom data acquisition PCI card. It seems like the solution might have something to do with delaying the start of libvirtd in systemd until the PCI card (or vfio?) is ready, but I don’t know how to do that. Can anyone else offer assistance?

"INTx fd" busy error on VM startup at boot, subsequent startup okay
Hey all,
I'm getting an error starting a libvirt managed qemu/kvm VM at physical
host boot time, but manually starting it afterwards works fine. This is
on a Ubuntu Wily i7-4790 box running Linux 4.2 and libvirt 1.2.16.
There is a legacy (5V) PCI card being passed through to the VM, the
error seems to relate to that.
The error that always appears at boot in

Printing: network host busy
H,
I have 5.1. The other day I was printing and the job crashed. I cleaned
the /var/spool/cups, but I am still getting the:
network 192.168.2.10 host is busy, will retry in 30sec
It's a dlink print server, that has worked very well for the last 3 years.
I have restarted but the print server and the printer.
Any suggestion?

'Network Busy'
I have a network that sporadically give 'network busy' errors. One morning
the workstations will all connect up fine and stay up throughout the days
work, yet the next day there is not one machine that can log on to the
network. It may run fine for two weeks, then bam, three days of no logins.
Yet the internet works fine. Could I copy my smb.conf file and rpm -e samba
and re install it?

Busy - problem with Asterisk spliced between Arcor E1-PRI and Ericsson BP250

i split into several mails as they are seperate problems.

this to the external caller. i tried with exten =>
