Austria isdn p2p empty DID
Hi there!
I've set up an asterisk@home with AVM C2 P2P ...
Everything works fine ...
BUT ... If someone is dialing the PBX head number without any
extension, asterisk can't handle this ... the DID in this case is
empty ....
Any ideas how to handle this?
Regards,

Working Asterisk with Austrian ISDN p2p
Hi!
I'm looking for someone who has successfuly setup an asterisk in
austria with isdn in p2p mode and chan_capi.
There is is a special problem in austria with DID. If someone is
dialing the phone number of the asterisk pbx like 12345-0, zero is
passed as an DID, but in Austria u can dial 12345, and the DID which
is passed is empty.
It seems that asterisk cant handle this. Any ideas?

memory question!
I have a question about memory. I have 8GB of RAM on a
Dell PE 1850(usb disabled kernel, cos it gets locked
up on heavy I/O). My domain0 has only 2 gigs of
memory. I have 2 guest domains 512 each. Now when i
try to create a 3rd guest domain of 512, xen wont let
me do it. My confusion is "Is 4G the max amount of
memory a domain can get/ or is 4G the max amout of
cumulative memory all the

Toll fraud detection/password script
So I was bored yesterday and tried solving a few
problems with one stone:
1) Notify me of potential brute forcers (multiple attempts
to register multiple numbers from one address)
2) Notify me of (l)users who are having password issues
So I whipped up a simple script to run in cron and
notify me that UserX from X_IP_Space had X amout of
password issues. I'm currently running this from
cron

want to write comments
Hi,
I am a littlt new developper, I learn Python and C.
I was looking for some command line program similar to vorbiscomment.
I did not find.
I would just try to write a very simple one in C or Python.
That would be a simple parse of the first bits of the file, if my
guesses are right. But where could I see the amout of binary bit I
should open, and how is the signification of any fields I would

Showcase of the Windows/ARM64/MinGW target
Hi,
At the Build conference recently, Microsoft had a session about Windows on
ARM(64), [1]. As case example of a large, nontrivial app rebuilt for this
arch, they demonstrated VLC.
The presentation claimed that this was built with MSVC, with zero changes
to the source.
This actually isn't true; the app that was demonstrated was actually built
with Clang and LLD with mingw-w64 as SDK

The survival package makes significant use of the "specials" argument of terms(), before
calling model.frame; it is part of nearly every modeling function. The reason is that
strata argments simply have to be handled differently than other things on the right hand
side. Likewise for tt() and cluster(), though those are much less frequent.
I now get "bug reports" from the

Is nss_winbind required?
Hi all,
Is it a necessity to use the winbind nss module?
I have run a few tests and having it enabled creates a massive
bottleneck. It's not nss_winbind itself that is the bottleneck but
something in the background (I'm guessing uid/rid->username code).
If I disable winbind in nsswitch.conf what impact will it have? Will the
system continue to work?
eg:
#nss_winbind enabled on

Samba from Sunfreeware and nss_winbind.so
Sunfreeware.com has compiled packages of Samba 3.4.2 with kerberos and
ldap support included (if you also install the ldap and kerberos
packages from sunfreeware.) However it does not include the
nss_winbind.so.* or libnss_winbind.so.* files.
Solaris does include nss_winbind.so already (since it is included with
Samba 3.0.x) or I could compile it from the 3.4.x source code. But
then I

The LIBS line at the top of the Makefile read:
LIBS=-lsec -lgen -lresolv -lsocket -lnsl -ldl
Is there somewhere else that I need to add -lsocket?

solaris 8/samba3.0alpha15: ld.so.1: ls: fatal: relocation error: file /lib/nss_winbind.so.1: symbol socket: referenced symbol not found
Any hope getting an answer for this?
If you do an ls -la in a directory that is part of a path of a share, you
get the following error:
ld.so.1: ls: fatal: relocation error: file /lib/nss_winbind.so.1: symbol
socket: referenced symbol not found
Killed
So, for example, if you have a share:
[monkey]
comment = monkey
path = /export/home/monkey

I had the same problem. You need to go into your Makefile and add the
[LIBS] definition to the part where winbind.so is linked. Just take it on
to the end of the line and run "make" and "make install" again. You might
want to do a "make uninstall" and a "make clean" first.
