Samba restart
hi all, I noticed that when I upgraded from Samba 2.0.7 (redhat 7.0) to samba 2.2.1a I lost this nice little script that came with redhat to start and stop the samba server. I would type in /usr/sbin/samba start and get a response like... /usr/sbin/smbd start (OK) /usr/sbin/nmbd start (OK) I liked that...does any one have a substitute that I could use for 2.2.1a? Thanks Carl

AJAX - update item forms problem

The list of items is changed by AJAX using RJS scripts and edits are done by showing and hiding an update form under a chosen row. Adding and updating rows works great but my problem is when the order of items is changed after making some AJAX datetime updates update forms of

Last two digits getting cut off?
We've just setup our A@H server, with our quad port card. Everything works well so far. One thing I notice is that when I leave the handset on the hook and dial a #, all is well. If I pick up the phone and dial, it cuts off at 10 digits, which is a problem if I need to dial 1+area+phone # (12 digits). The phones are Poly Soundpoint IP 600's. I'm wondering if I've missed a

using smbadduser non-interactively
Hello All, Could someone please tell me if there is a was to use smbadduser in a non-interactive mode and just allow you to enter all of the particular user information on the command line? I need to set up a small script that will automate adding users to the smbpasswd file so that they can login. Cheers, Lonnie -- Lonnie Cumberland OutStep Technologies Incorporated EMAIL:
