Hi rsync gurus!
[Please Cc: me, as I am NOT subscribed to the list!]
First the data points:
debian/woody, local server=i386 arch, remote is alpha arch

While upgrading our server to a raid we were hit by a bug which I really
consider very strange:
The option -n/--dry-run does NOT change files, but DELETE files when
called with --delete.

converting a floppy disk layout to partition layout
Hi all!
I have a slight problem: I have an external disk which contains one big
filesystem (like a floppy) type ext3 (If you ask why: blame udev or
maxtor, or me because I am stupid) which is approx 60% filled.
Now I want to have a partition table, ie a layout where the current
filesystem is the first partition, and the rest is as usual.
Is this possible withotu destroying the data?

someone with knowledge to update the patch instead of me nokey ;-)

Fail kerberos method = secrets and keytab and net offlinejoin requestodj
Hello everyone,
For the context, I'm trying to add support for offline join in WAPT WADS
OS deployment [1]. Currently WADS supports offline join of Windows
computers, and I want to add support for Linux computer using SSSD as a
authentication client (for the persons who might dismiss this mail
because of a certain keywords, yes it is related to sssd, but it
triggers a Samba bug). I also

[LLVMdev] A bug in LLVM-GCC 4.2 with inlining __exchange_and_add
Hi,
I have encountered an issue which seems to be a serious reproducible bug in LLVM-GCC 4.2. It can be reproduced by compiling the following C++ file that uses boost:#include "boost/statechart/event.hpp"
using namespace std;
class EvActivate : public boost::statechart::event< EvActivate >
{
public:
EvActivate(){}

setting up a VM.
I set up two VMs this past weekend both with NAT. Both able to were

space so I deleted it.
The second one, I created in /home/kvm, but deleted it as well when I

dovecot fts_lucene indexes not being updated
Hi everyone,
I have a dovecot 2.1.6 setup with fts_lucene.
The lucene indexes get created/updated fine when I do a manual search thru
telnet.
However, if I run a webapp that uses the php::imap_search function, the
index never gets created/updated. I run indo the same problem with
thunderbird and full-body search.
Anyone has some insight into this?
Regards,
