Hello, Last week I submitted a problem with msdfs on samba. I didn't receive any reaction. I've also tried the samba-cvs version but this has also problems. We really like to use msdfs from samba, because we want to put all our homedirectories ( more than 4000 ) in one dfsroot. This is not possible with Microsoft's dfs because this has a limit of 1000 .... I didn't found this

I've set up a dfs share according to instructions. There is one part of the instructions that I don't understand. I've checked the forum archives but can't find any examples which might help. Hello, We have a problem with samba 2.0.3 and a lotus notes 4.6.2 client. The local lotus-notes user's databases are on the home-directory of the user in directory notes/data. The home-directory is a directory on a unix (HP) file-server and is accessed with samba. If a user wants to open the databases in his notes/data directory, he get a notes error "The parameter is incorrect".
