Can someone tell me where to find what error messages mean or enlighten me as to what smb_dont_catch_keepalive: server->data_ready == NULL means ? Many thanks Ian

Client Disconnects
Hi, I'm running samba 2.2.7 on redhat advanced server with approximately 40 win2k clients and having a serious problem with the clients. Intermittently the clients will lose their connection to the server for approximately 30 seconds. It's like the socket connection is being reset or something. Here's a sample output from a client log file: [2003/04/12 15:13:08, 0]

Severe problem with Samba
Dear All, we are experiencing severe problems with Samba 2.2.0 (with quota support) running on a dual processor (400MHz) Sun E450 running Solaris 2.7. This is used as a central file server for student diskspace, accessed by approx 1200 PCs running NT 4. Up until recently we experienced some, what we assume to be, loading issues with connections during the middle of the day being slow.

Cannot Authenticate to Samba Shares after switching laptop from wired to wireless nic.
I have a laptop that I need to be able to connect to my samba shares with its wired connection and its wireless connection. It works fine when connecting from the wired ethernet connection but it stops working once I disable the wired connection and connect to the wireless network (both networks are on the same subnet). The IP address for the wired connection is 192.168.1.112

"getpeername failed" error when signed communications policy enabled
Hi, I'm looking for help with an issue that we are seeing with the following configuration: We are using Samba (3.5.12-72.fc15) to share out CUPS printers from a Fedora 15 machine. However, a requirement of the system is that these printers are not directly visible from client systems (Windows 7 SP1 32-bit), so instead we are sharing them out from a Windows print server (Windows 2008 R2
