SAMBA joins Windows 2000 Domain
Dear all, I have a running Windows2000 Domain in Native mode. Is there a possibility to let Samba join this domain ? SAMBA on Solaris combined with WinNT4 Domain
Hello I have a problem with connectivity between Samba and NT. When I do a net view on an NT box like: "net view \\TESTSERVER" the system asks me for a username and password. Why is Samba asking for a user and password when on both system the same user and password exists. Im using the option EnablePlainTextPassword on WinNT. How to tell Ices0 reloading the playlist?
Hi all! How can I tell ices0 to refersh/reload the playlist? I thought it would be done automaticaly, but now if I changed the playlist, Ices didn't see this. Played funny the old one again and again. Is it possible to get ices a kick to reload the playlist? Greetings Anatol

Hi While I've personally never done it, I believe you can follow along with a guide here: http://www.oddsock.org/guides/video.php Streaming video isn't so different from streaming music, you need a supported source format, a source client to arrange and send your stream to the distribution server and they clients connect to that. In this particular case Icecast only supports OGG

Why no connect to relaying server?
Hi all! I've setup an icecast2 relay server, which connect to an icecast1 server mountpoint. the stats.log of icecast1 lists an/my icecast2 relay connect - so far so fine :) BUT: if i try to listen to the relayed stream, my winamp couldn'd connect: 404 file not found :(( the access.log lines are like: 213.23.134.235 - - [13/Apr/2004:08:05:29 +0200] "GET /rc2 HTTP/1.0" 404
