I am trying to change some ACLs on some files and directories. I have samba binaries with acl support compiled in. I am using an XFS filesystem. The Mandrake kernel supports acls by default. When I right click on the file in Windows explorer and change the permissions, I get an access denied error. I have added a machine account to /etc/passwd named luna$ and in smbpasswd named luna. When I attempt to join my Win2K box to the domain, I get this error. The following error occured attempting to join the domain: The account used is a computer account. Use your global user account or local user account to access this server.
