I am validating fields of a class, if validation fails i use the method error.add "Say something" , but when I test my form by giving a invalid entry, I get error output as "Say something is invalid" and not as "Say something". Hello all, I read in the smbmnt man page that: "A setuid smbmnt will only allow mounts on directories owned by the user, and that the user has write permission on." I am trying to set up a mount on /mnt/laptop. I have given my users 777 permissions on the directory, but it is owned by root. Is there any way that I can work around this. Hi, I'm trying to run smbmount on a machine with the root filesystem mounted as read only (it is a little embedded Linux PC which I want to pick up some files from its controlling NT box). The problem is that smbmnt doesn't appear to support the -n flag that normal mount supports which avoids accessing /etc/mtab. Can any one suggest any solutions to this ? Dave
