Automatic renewal The Ubuntu package for certbot comes pre-configured with systemd timer that will automatically renew existing certificates. What it does not handle however is reloading postfix/dovecot so that they will begin using the new certificates. For that, we need to implement a hook. Certbot has both pre and post hooks that you can use to execute a script prior to and after the renewal

How can I add a NT PDC to WINS tables?
Hi I am trying to use wins-support in samba-2.0.6 as a WINS-server for severel subnets. On one subnet there is an NT-PDC server, serving its own domain. I cannot understand why, but it does not register itself as a PDC (type #1c). The domain is called SI, and the PDC is SI_NTSURF. This is all I get in wins.dat on this server: "IS~SI_NTSURF#00" 943540525 192.38.49.60 64R

Hi I have an issue with XP PRO laptop users that use their laptops to login locally on the LAN and also remotely via a VPN connection at night/weekends. After logging in remotely the next time they login locally on the LAN they experience extreme slowness with opening applications such as Word, printing and browsing print queues etc. The problem appears to be that the entry for their

How to use alias interface ?
HiHo, I'm using wine since a couple of years for a private Diablo game server. Now, while installing a new server I've a problem where neither the Wine-Doc nor the Wine-Faq or Google could help me in any way. My problem with the new server is that I need to configure (or better restrict) my wine to use my alias-interface instead of the primary one. I already found the following stuff

Some time ago I did the smart thing and configured dovecot to use SSL and the letsencrypt certificate that automatically renews. Welllll..... a few days ago my certificate expired and the fetchmail deamon running in the background had nowhere to complain. So I didn't notice. It turns out that dovecot
