hi, I need a hand setting up cross subnet browsing. Does anyone have some good news group postings, or a HOWTO? I have 2 samba servers, and 2 subnets. Each servers sits on it's own domain/workgroup. I think this should be much simpler than it is, and perhaps I am just missing one or two settings. Of the 2 servers: A, B I would like 'A' to do any serving or hold any

I have only ever needto to run one samba/linux system. I now need 2 more added to the network. I need some direction on how to keep the 3 servers replicated with the unix passwords and the samba passwords. I've had this problem as long as I've been using samba: every time anyone prints from a PC they get a banner page labeling them 'nobody.' Now, I realize this has to do with the guest account being 'nobody,' and the server is passing that name to the printer. It can get very frustrating, though, when lots of folks use the same printer and all of the jobs have the same name

I am looking at putting the medisoft application on a samba share. I was wondering if there is currently anyone using this configuration and if so then what are some of the problems that I might encounter.
