In my syslog I get many of these types of errors: ypserv [4818]: refused connect from 127.0.0.1:57124 to procedure ypproc_match [domain.com,passwd.adjunct.byname;-1) Any idea what this error is? TIA

Need to restart ypserv to update the nis maps
Hi I use NIS om my network (CentOS4.6). When an update on a map occurs (home directory changed in /etc/passwd for instance), I run make -C /var/yp/ and check the result on a client. Cross compiling - size of binaries is large
Hi, I have cross compiled samba 3.3.8 for arm, which succeeded. However, the size of the resulting binaries is large (few MB's per binary) so the total installation of samba sums to over 50 megabytes, after stripping the binaries. For example, with samba 2.0.10, the size of smbd was 281 KB. With samba 3.3.8 that is 5.2 MB. Same goes for the other binaries. It looks as if there is a chunk of

Swap Memory get used totally
Hi list, Time to time, my asterisk goes down.Verifying with TOP, I see the swap memory of the computer get used totally but, I don't see what the process is using it. Hereis a copy wath I see doing top. Does somebody have an idea ? L2ARC & Workingset Size
Hi all I ran a workload that reads & writes within 10 files each file is 256M, ie, (10 * 256M = 2.5GB total Dataset Size).
