Hello! I need to use smbpasswd in scripts. I want to changing smbpassword in script. There is an option -s in smbpasswd so I tried: echo new_password | smbpasswd -s username but without success.... Hello, I have a problem because when I try to use the smbclient -L linux, the server responds: Got a positive name query response from 127.0.0.1 (192.168.0.1) session request to *SMBSERVER failed and I can connect to another W98 machine from the linux/samba server, but the inverse isn't true.
