Need some help on security
Hello all. I am new to the list and relitively new to FreeBSD. I currently have a server running 4.8 as a dedicated server with cPanel added as a way to speed up the creation of sites and such on the server. I host only a couple of site because I do this in my spare time and don't know enough to be a paid participant in the hosting community. Anyway, on to the question, lastnight, the server

1.0.3 in ACM soon
Hi Fabio, In theory, speex would run in real time, because now it was implemented with integer functions (before only floting point). I'd like test it in my arm processor. I hope to port speex to ppc soon. For your thesis see this link http://www.chl.chalmers.se/~numa/theses/voicemail.pdf Regards, Rodrigo <p>-----Mensaje original----- De: owner-speex-dev@xiph.org

unexpected --exclude pattern behaviours with glob wildcards
Rsync version: rsync-2.5.6-3mdk (Mandrake 9.2) I see from the CVS log that some of the following awkwardness may be fixed (or at least different) in the next public release. I'm looking forward to that. In the interim, here are some problems: --------- Problem 1 - unexpected consequence of replacing / with ** --------- The following exclude works because the explicit slash causes a match

rsync giving directory by name, instead of contents
Hi all! I've read the manual and google'ed aplenty, but sadly can't figure out this particular issue. Perhaps someone can thwack me with the correct cluestick? I have a number of directories listed under one path in an rsyncd module. I'd like to rsync the contents of some of the directories. Here's essentially what the source filesystem looks like: /home /home/user1

rsync 2.6.7 not excluding whole directories
I'm not sure if I was relying on unspecified behavior, but I was in the habit of putting entries like this: /home/tug/public_html into an exclude file. This would omit everything under that directory. (I'm not sure if it omitted the directory itself, but I didn't care.) In rsync 2.6.7, this had no effect, and everything under /home/tug/public_html was copied. I notice that a new

RFE: extend --keep-dirlinks to files also
Hi, I just read the thread http://lists.samba.org/archive/rsync/2004-June/009678.html which describes how --keep-dirlinks came to be. My use case is similar, but I?d like a similar option for files as well. Setup: in my public_html I have some symlinks which I send over as files, with -L (for various reasons: partly, because they are copies of current work which is done elsewhere, or
