Problems with netlogon batch
Hi there,
we are pretty sure to have our Samba version 1.9.18p10 configured for
running a logon.bat which mounts a SMB filesystem on Win95 client logon.
Funnily enough we see the message "Win NT logon script: Executing logon
script" but obviously this is not actually true, as the filesystem is not
mounted after this message box (a DOS box flashes up briefly as well)...

Making a share visible only to members of a group
Hi,

I tried to realize this by using include like: #include smb.conf.%G
But it did not work correctly. Sometimes the share was visible,
sometimes it wasnt,
and if it was visible, network path wasnt found afterwards.

dovecot-lda panics when postmaster_address is given on command line
Hi,
When passing a postmaster_address to dovecot-lda on the command line
with -o, it panics:

lda(onno,)Panic: file lda-settings.c: line 80 (lda_settings_check):

It looks like postmaster_address has already been expanded at that point

a question about function eval()
Hi,
I have a question about the usage of eval(). Wonder if any experienced user can help me out of it.
I use eval() in the following function:

knotn <- length(knots.pos)

Hello;
I've got several radiobuttons in tcltk with the following sintaxis:

All the buttons call the same function "plotDialog1". With the objective

Question on start_form_tag and get post method
Hi all,
I have a simple question about start_form_tag. It default generates
method=post. I was wondering how you could use start_form_tag to generate
method=get. Probably a simple question but one I can''t answer with the API
doc.
Thanks in advance,

desperate!
Dear R community
I sent a message out a while ago asking for help with multiple
comparison tests for ANOVA's, but haven't had any response yet.
I'm sending a final desperate plea. If I can't get this done in R I'm
going to have to redo a whole lot of stuff in a commercial package,
which I'm REALLY not keen to do!
My problem is how to implement these tests in R. Below

Desperate client in NYC
Wants to hire RoR Developer full time. They might consider a
consultant. Candidates must live in the tri-state area.
So if you''ve got any RoR exp and have been developing for the past few
years, shoot me your resume and salary/hourly and I''ll get you an
interview.
Some other stuff they use is Java/Oracle.
Thanks,

last desperate plea for help with NetWkstaUserLogon
I posted a message about a week ago concerning my ongoing battles
with NetWkstaUserLogon (aka networkstation user login). I would
be very grateful for answers to ANY of my questions...
We have 1.9.18p4 on Solaris 2.6. We are doing pass-through authentication
(security=server, password server = <NT PDC>).
It will allow administrators to login, map drives, etc. etc.

Samba and NIS+ (lengthy desperate plea)
Hi everyone,
Let me briefly describe my setup. I work at a small university and we are
setting up 3 labs. 2 are filled with Ultra Sparc 5's, and the 3rd will be
filled with PCs running NT4 workstation. We have an Enterprise Server
3500 running NIS+ to authenticate the Unix labs (or rather we will, once
I get it working), and I'd like to set up Samba to authenticate the NT
labs using
