Hello, Whenever I reatart samba on my bsd or my linux machines windows 98 network neighborhood looses either machine, I've got samba set up as a wins server, and the 98 machine pointing to it, but this doesn't help. The 98 machine can see it's own shares, but not the samba server, any ideas? I'm running 98, freebsd 3.4 release, slackware linux 7.0 and samba 2.05 and 2.06. Thanks.

I simply cannot join my domain controlled by a samba PDC (vers. 2.0 or the newest version 2.0.7) with w2k professional. If I try to join the domain a messagebox appears and claims that the particular domain doesn't exist (allthough I know it does!).
