Samba problems after intalling ncpfs
Hi!
My problem is that Samba doesn't work after installing ncfs.
I have Samba 1.9.18p10 and ncpfs 2.0.10.
I've succesfully installed ncpfs. After that I check it by "slist"
and get my Novell server. I mount Novell volume by ncpmount - all ok.
But after that my Samba doesn't work. I can see Samba/Linux box
in Network neibourhood with correct title "Linux Samba

2nd try: Thunderbird "Empty Trash" causes inconsistent IMAP session state?
That log didn't do much help, can you try enabling mail_debug=yes for a
moment and see if it gives any more insight?

2nd try: Thunderbird "Empty Trash" causes inconsistent IMAP session state?
Sorry, just one more thing I've just noticed now from looking at the
IMAP session IDs:
Dovecot seems to map the steps as outlined below to four different IMAP
session IDs all related to the exact same Thunderbird client instance:
* <yH0lKWRRpNHAqOh5> session for the folder copy of folder "Dilbert"
with 317 messages
* <VcMlLWRRqNHAqOh5> session for the deletion

IMAP session state inconsistent
Running Dovecot 1.2.12 (we are in the process of upgrading to 2.1.x)
Didn't find much in old threads, but we are seeing the following in the
logs this morning:

lip=y.y.y.y
dovecot: IMAP(wajabrun): Disconnected: IMAP session state is

Problems with Mailbox is in inconsistent state, please relogin.
Dear Dovecot users,
I'm a sysadmin in a company that recently migrated the IMAP from
courier-imap to dovecot :-) *urray*
Everything with the perl migrating scripts (version 1.0) went with OKs
and it was a lot of fun (and pray) to move 400Gb of mails and migrate..
and everything is working even better :-)
The problem is for some outside users that use webmails, like:

System load spike on dovecot reload
Hi everyone,
I'm running dovecot with quite a lot of users and lots of active imap
connections (like 20'000). I'm using different user IDs for users, so I
need to have imap {service_count=1} - i.e. I have a lots of imap
processes running.
Everything works fine, until I reload dovecot configuration. When that
happen, every client is forced to relogin in the same time and that

Problem with indexes
Hello.
Dovecot is really good software but I have one big problem with indexes.
I have server with a lot of mailboxes - filesystem has quota enabled and
I can't resign it from different reasons. When mailbox achieve quota
size and user wants to pick mails via pop3, error "-ERR Mailbox is in
inconsistent state, please relogin." is given. I know it's because

Thunderbird "Empty Trash" causes inconsistent IMAP session state?
All,
having successfully compiled and set up Dovecot 2.2.29.1 on my Thecus
NAS as a newbie without any further hassle, and already imported an
external mail archive of ~15 GB into a lz4-compressed mdbox (with
impressive performance on the old Intel Atom CPU!), I stumbled into a
minor, but reproducible issue that might well be already known, but I
haven't managed to find any pointers

How to best deal with undesirable Induction Variable Simplification?
Thanks. I've rebased this patch on top of the recent LLVM (it was straightforward) and applied it in my fork.
It seems to have solved one of the problems I was having. Would LLVM be interested if I submit the updated version for the review?

How to best deal with undesirable Induction Variable Simplification?
I've noticed that there was an attempt to mitigate ExitValues problem in https://reviews.llvm.org/D12494 that went nowhere. Were there particular issues with that approach?

Idle time out
Hi, I don't know if this is the approriate place to post it. But it
really annoying me. My ssh connection times out every 10 minutes or so and
I want it to keep open for like 3 hours so that I don't have to relogin.
However, I cannot find an option to change this!! In the Secure SSH we
have a option called IdelTimeout to deal with this but OpenSSH seems to
totally ignore this option.

WinXP user password not accepted - very strange !!!
Dear friends,
I have an Ubuntu 8.04 server fully updated running Samba 3.0.28a. Currently the ubuntu machine acts as a PDC and all clients have joined the domain successfully (clients are all WinXP SP2).
The strange thing is only with one user where:
If the user logs in with his password all works well. If he restarts or shutdown his machine and tries to relogin the system tells him that his

samba caching group memberships
Hi all,
our setup is Samba 3.3 in W2K8 domain.
It seems samba cache group memberships somewhere and after adding user to a new group it's necessary
to relogin for that user to get new memberships. Is it possible to eliminate that nasty procedure?
Thanks.
