Next Move - Hosting
I posted this to asterisk biz but didn't get a reply.. I didn't want to offend anyone being that this is kind of branching into hosting, and maybe outside of the remit of this list. Hi Been lurking on the user list for a while but I have some what of an immediate requirement and I'm wondering if you can suggest the best solution (if mines a rubbish idea) I have been testing Asterisk

Registration problems, Linksys SPA 3102 on Asterisk 1.4.20
Sorry, I am resending this, I tried earlier, but I couldn't see it appear on the archives - apologogies if it appears double! -------------------------------------------------- My Sipura 3000 ATA died on me this morning. I had a Linksys SPA 3102 available which I would like to use as a replacement. Unfortunately, the SPA3102 is not able to register with the asterisk server - I am

flash zap FXO port from SIP device (SPA-2002) using RFC2833 or SIP INFO
Sorry if this was posted yesterday, I was having issues with being auto-unsubscribed because of my spam filter. Not sure if my post made it through. Hi everyone, I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious here, or if Asterisk just doesn't support what I'm trying to do. It seems like it should be simple, but appearances can be deceiving. I've got an Asterisk box

SPA-2000 Dropped calls
Been having a problem with my two Sipura 2000's dropping calls from the SPA-2000 side. Seems the calls are dropped right before the "Next Registration" time. Calls drop about ever 60 minutes or so. I have dialed from one port to the other and let it sit. After about 60 minutes or so the calls get dropped. System details are below Asterisk ver. CVS-HEAD-11/27/04-23:42:45 RHEL 3

Stubbing Model.new w/ block?
Ok, I followed the advice of the list and moved more code into my model from my controller. When developing tests for this new code, I ran into a problem... My model code creates a receipt object and sets some values on it: @receipt = Receipt.new do |r| r.x = 1 r.y = 2 # etc end I wanted to be able to stub out Receipt.new so that I could set expectations on the methods called on the

Have you thought about making them agents, they would both be reachable by dialing there agent number then, and I know only one agent can be logged in at once. SPA-2000 and time of day
Kevin Walsh noted that his SPA-2000 takes time from his local NTP server in a post back on Fri June 25. Q: Where do you tell it to use NTP? I'm a bit confused as to where my SPA-2000 is currently getting its time. I told it GMT-5 in the misc section but it doesn't really tell me where its going for this. Is it just broadcasting looking for ntp? The net of my problem is that it is 1 hour

SPA-962 Time on Asterisk
Good Day, I have been tasked with fixing the time on our asterisk server. I am having a hard time finding documentation to tell my what asterisk uses to get its time information to push to phones (or a better question, where does the SPA-962 get its time information)? Basically, I can go under the settings of the phone and change the offset to set the correct hour, but it is still about 4

Problem using SPA-2000 behind NAT
Hello all, I have a new Sipura SPA-2000 that I am trying to configure beind a NAT. The SPA is able to register to the asterisk server without a problem and the SPA can make calls to other extension that are not behind a NAT. However, when I try to call the SPA from another extension, the extension connected to the SPA rings, the user at the SPA answers, and there is no audio in either
