Hopefully this is a samba question, and not a Microsoft Access question... I have a multiuser access database on a samba share... it worked fine with multiple users being able to connect to it at the same time no probs. I just upgraded the linux box to red hat 6, copied across the same smb.conf from before and now users are getting a error "Too many active users" when more than one

I would like to see those of us who send an inquiry to this list also send a summary of what fixed the problem so that someone in the future could find the answer. I'm trying to figure out an intelligent way to install apps on the network server, and be able to install once and have all the clients use this. However, it seems like most installations modify the registry and seem to demand a client-by-client installation. Am I missing something on this? The issue is that you are using a PC program to check out/modify the files, and pc os'es (Win/dos, i mean) use crlf as a ascii line terminator. Unix uses a lf only.
