Dear All, I've seen the PRINTER_DRIVER.txt doc on getting the PRINTER$ share set up to automatically add printer drivers to Win95 clients. It explicitly says that the procedure described does not work for NT4.0 clients. I can't find any other documentation on setting up a PRINTER$ share suitable for NT4.0 or NT2000 clients either in the distribution (2.0.5a) or the web site. Is this

Hi, Iv'e got a SuSE 8.0 box with Samba 2.2..3a-64 on it. I tried to copy 4.1GB of MPG/AVI Videos (103 particula files) to a Windows98 SE box. But i din't take long and the Linux box crashes. I have a SMB Domain set up with a PDC and BDC. The BDC is joined to the PDC domain fine and shows up in the LDAP directory. I can add and delete users to the LDAP directory. I can use the user accounts to access the Linux boxes. My W2K boxes see the domain and domain servers when browsing. I can access the shared drive on the PDC. I cannot join the Windows servers to the domain. I get an error

What do you want: User should logon remote to windows workstations or do you want a remote login to your server? For remote logon on windows workstations you need a group policy linked to the ou of your workstations.
