Hi, i'm trying to configure my postfix to use dovecot SASL instead of
saslauthd with rimap to authenticate my users.

Roaming profiles problems Samba 3.0.2a / Win XP Pro/Win2K
Hi guys,
I'm experiencing seemingly random problems using roaming profiles with
Samba 3.0.2 on Debian Woody and clients being Win XP Pro and Win2K (all
of them running the latest service packs and critical updates and so
forth).
Sometimes when one of the machines tires to login the server profile
can't be found. The error Windows comes up with is "Network name cannot
be found."

Loop Help
Hi all,
I am a beginner R user and need some help with a simple loop function.
Currently, I have seven datasets (TOWER1,TOWER2...TOWER7) that are all in
the same format (same # of col and headers). I am trying to add a new column
(factor) to each dataset that simply identifies the dataset. Ultimately, I
would like to merge all 7 datasets and need that column to identify what
rows came from what

OT: Creating documentation using a web interface
Hello all,
I would like to document some things I am doing with asterisk, but would
prefer to do this from a web interface. I am unfamiliar with any
software that allows you to create online documentation from a web
interface. Ideally I will be able to create documentation online from a
browser, which then when saved, is immediately ready to be read online.
Perhaps I can setup different authors

If (x > 0)
Hi,
I am new to R. I was trying to get a very simple program to run. Take one number from the command line. If the number < 0 return -1. If number > 0 return 1 and if the number == 0 return 0. The code is in a file called test1.R
The code:
#useage: R --no-save --args 5 < test1.R
args = (commandArgs(TRUE))
x = as.numeric(args[1])
print(x)
res <- conditional1(x)

Ruby on Rails is great! - It''s so easy ... I can code while smashed and
still get work done!
I work from home. I code hard and get a lot done. Ruby on Rails makes my
productivity so much higher than I can actually be drunk ... and still
impress my boss!
It''s great.
Do you have experiences like this? Do you code better while unable to
walk the line? Does the loosening

Occasional robotic sound while call in progress
We have an application that plays a variety of sound files on one leg of a call (generated by a call file). We've been told that the party listening to the audio files intermittantly hears "robotic" sounding audio (on/off during the same call).
Anyone have ideas on cause? These calls are on an internal network (lots of network bandwidth), and from a server running 99% idle.

R GUI in Ubuntu?
Dear all,
I am very new to R and find the terminal-based UI a little daunting.
(That's probably the wrong thing to say!) Having searched the Packages
it seems that I can have either a Gnome-based or Java-based GUI for my
Ubuntu machine. However, I can get neither to work.
Having run R as root, I then run the following command:
install.packages("gnomeGUI", dependencies=TRUE)
