That's pretty high! Seems you're using a switch.
I just get 3,5 MB/s in both directions using 905b NIC's and a hub,
+-100kb, usually reading is slightly higher than writing.

oplock problem
Hello!
I need help (but who doesn's huh? :-) )
I meant to run one program - Money2000 (no, it is _not_ program from
Microsoft) together with samba on linux, but i have problems with oplocks.
This program is installed locally on win9x/NT and shares its databases. We
tried to place databases on novell, on NT server and on win95 acting as
server and everything worked fine. But when we tried

security = server & encrypted passwords
Folks,
I've missed the latest encrypted passwords thread, so forgive me if
this is old hat for some of you.
I'm running 2.0.3 with auth being handled by an NT PDC. It seems that
some Win95 clients (namely those with later releases of the OS) have
problems authenticating. I've got encrypt passwords = yes but it
still seems only the old Win95 clients (clear text passwords) can
auth

I am attaching the data set here called ddd.csv
I used
data=read.csv("ddd.csv",header=TRUE)
fb=data$FBfollowers

fb=as.numeric(fb)

When I try

Limiting size of pairs plots
Dear R-users,
I would like to add a legend at the bottom of pairs plots (it's my first
use of this function). With the plot function, I usually add some
additional space at the bottom when I define the size of the graphical
device (using mar); grid functions then allows me to draw my legend as I
want.
Unfortunatley, this technique does not seem to work with the pairs
function as the
