Two outbound internet links, using one network interface
Hi,
I am trying to categorize the network traffic and to send it out across
two different providers.
For this I mark the packets in the firewall (in the PREROUTING chain of
table mangle),
and then use another routing table for the marked packets, which has a
different gateway
from the main routing table. Basicaly I am following the cookbook
example in this page:

Can't re-add NT box to domain
While I wait for an answer to my last question, allow me to ask another.
When we upgraded a samba server from 2.x to 3.0.0-2mdk using LDAP, we managed
to change the domain SID. Instead of fixing the SIDs on the sever, I re-added
the hosts to the domain. Although it was a lot of work, it was successful on
most of the systems on the network. However, we have one old NT4 box on the
network

SAMBA 3.0.21c (domain is LINBOXTEXT)
Windows 2000 SP4 (domain is ADTEST)
Hello,
I've established an interdomain trust relationship between SAMBA and
Windows.
Samba domain users can log into the Windows domain, but Windows domain
users can't log to the SAMBA server.
For example, if I try to log as "ADTEST/dupond" from Windows to SAMBA,
SAMBA log says:

Windows 2000 server SP4 in mixed mode (netbios name is MAFIA-L6FFST3UP,
domain is ADTEST / adtest.linbox.com)
Hello,
So I've successfully established a two ways interdomain trust
relationship between a SAMBA PDC and a Windows domain. It was working
fine: for example a windows user was able to connect on a share on the
SAMBA server.

I can't get multiple interfaces to work
I've looked through all the doc and searched the list archives, but I just
can't seem to get it to work. I have a Linux box with 5 ethernet
interfaces, 3 of which have winboxes I'd like to include in my little Samba
network. I'm able to get it far enough for each winbox to see the linbox,
but they can't see each other.
Here's my setup:

all our circuits are busy now
I am not sure why I am getting this message,
I have an outbound route that goes to asterisk gateway1 then asterisk
gateway2
When all lines on asterisk gateway1 are full, I get the message " all our
circuits are busy now" then few second later, the phone rings, going to the
second route! And the call can be established, how can I get rid of this
message??
thanks

Hello,
One of my user open a file (located on a SAMBA server) in its

server not visible anymore
Hello everyone,
I used samba 1.9.x before and everything was fine. The samba
server lived in some local network and I could see it from my NTbox
as well as from Win95/98 clients.
I upgraded to version 2.0.3 and now my server is gone though I use
the same smb.conf file which is pretty basic. I can connect to it
using the "\\server\share" convention and can also see it when I do

Hi,
I'm trying to set up an AD DC in an iocage jail on FreeBSD (to avoid the issues of having the DC a file server) but I'm running into some trouble.

ID mapping with SFU not setting shell
Hi,
I'm trying to use SFU to set user IDs, shells, etc. but I can't work out the right magic - it always seems to use default template shell and home directory (but the UID seems correct)
The global section of my smb4.conf looks like so:
# Global parameters
[global]
log level = all:2
netbios name = GATEWAY2
realm = BEGER.COM.AU
server role = active

Log spam "Failed to bind to uuid ..."
Hi,
I recently replaced an ageing server running Samba 4.5.10 with one running Samba 4.11.8. They both run FreeBSD / ZFS. The site is setup as an AD (I wrote https://wiki.freebsd.org/Samba4ZFS while doing it).
My original plan was to join the new server to the domain, shut down the old one and rename it but renamedc complained the old name was still present so I just keep the name (gateway2).

Win95 machine and a Debian (Hamm = latest stable release). The
NT 4 machine has a shared drive I want to access from my Debian

Setting a HP 9300 driver with APW -> Windows protection fault

When I set the driver via APW, and then close the properties dialog, I
get a protection fault from C:\winnt\explorer.exe.
Attached is the corresponding samba log at level 3, and my smb.conf.
The driver installation works fine if I set
