Jk2 v1.02 and v1.04
Well guys, got myself in an annoying situation here. I'm using Ubuntu and i installed Wine. Then i installed Jk2 (Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast) and it worked straight away! I could play online on v1.02. I didn't try v1.04, because v1.04 is for nubs lol. Anyway, the next day i tried to refresh the server list and nothing shown up. VMware
Anyone knows of an open mailing list / newsgroup about VMware? If such a thing doesn't exist, I'll happily create one and, if not much of an annoyance, advertise it here -- just once I promise! ;) I'd like to discuss heavy-metal technical issues about the relationship between VMware, the Linux kernel, X, Samba and the like. Thank you for your kind attention. -------------- next part

Samba config for Windows on VMWare
I know this is a little off topic (not as usual, dammit!), but I figure at least one of y'all can handle this one. I have tried to configure my CentOS4.4 Plus desktop for samba sharing with the VMWare Windows that runs on it. However, no matter what I've done so far, I can't get the Windows to recognize this machine as a legitimate network destination. Here's my samba

virsh define function question
Hi, How do I view the libvirt virsh domxml-to-native function implementation? I think this function contains some error. Because we use libvirt to manage some host and vms on vmware hypervisor. We use openenbula generate a template for libvirt ,such as my attachment windows2008.xml. but when i use domxml-to-native to convert xml file to vmware config file vmx as below. This may not be

Guest interface names not same as configured name
Hi, I am creating a guest with following description for interfaces in the xml using virsh create xml command. For some reason, the guest interface names in the VM dont match the names specified in the xml. Is there a way to make guest interface names predictable? Mongrel instance dies unexpectedly, but cleanly....
Hi, I have a two instance mongrel cluster, running behind apache mod_proxy_balancer on a linux VPS. Mongrel_cluster is 1.01, mongrel is v1.02, rails 1.2.3, ruby 1.8.6. I seem to have enough memory. About 2 minutes after I start the cluster, one of my instances dies - it could be either one. The log file indicates that it received a TERM signal. The instance does die cleanly, removing its pid
