Voice Mail Notification
Hi, Here's the deal. When someone leaves me a voicemail message I want Asterisk to call me on my cellphone by dialing my cellphone number and tell me I have a message. Is this possible? Can anyone cite examples? Most commercial voicemail systems produced in the last 10 years can do this. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards, Mike -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

Print to Win98, WinNT
Hi SMBers, I have a problem when trying print to Win98 via Samba: When I use print script ( included near at the end of SMB-HOWTO) to print a text file, I've got perfect printout, but when I use it to print some html page, I've got ASCII text of PS file that I want to print. If I print to file then use ghostview to view the file, so it seems to me that fine! What is wrong ? How can I fix

Multiple Groups Assigned to a File
I'm new to this group so I hope that this is the right place to ask this question (if not, let me know): We are setting up several Samba servers and we've run into a problem with file permissions. We've have a few shared folders that we'd like for some GROUPS to have read/write access and other GROUPS to have only read access. I cannot figure out how to do this because

Can not delete files via Samba in some cases
Hi List, my problem is the following: I use Samba 3.5 with AD password authentification and uid/gid information in local files. Everything seems to work so far, when i create files via samba the created files have correct user/group information on linux filesystem level (so i think id mapping works basicly). The only thing that does not work is deleting files which - belong to other users from

Voicemail notification
Besides email notification, is there another way to get asterisk notify the user that they have a message? Example: Some analog phones have a blinking light that lets the user know that they have a voicemail message. Is asterisk capable of doing this?

Apps slow down after several minutes
A problem I have with most applications I've tried is after several minutes, they will slow down to a crawl, becoming unusable. The program I'm mainly interested in is Painkiller (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/painkiller/index.html). It runs beautifully at first, and I can usually get through a level, but after that, it slows down or even stops. Is this an issue in Wine or could this

More accurate ODE solver?
Dear All, I was using rk4 and lsoda to solve a ODE system. However, both of them gave bad accurate solutions, especially compared with Matlab solver ODE45. For example, ODE45 gave solutions that can go to a stable level (about 1.6) when time goes to infinity, however, the solutions from lsoda are decreasing to very very small (about 1e-130) numbers. Does R have more accurate ODE solvers as

y needing more than 2 functions
Dear all, I'm aware if y has two separate functions (depending on the conditions of x) you can use the ifelse function to separate y into two separate functions depending on input. How do you do this if there a multiple different conditions for x? for example, y fits the following between t>0 & t<15----->function(t) t^2, y fits the following between t>15 &

Need help with self-defined function to perform nonlinear regression and get prediction interval
Dear All, I was trying to call a self-defined function that performs nonlinear regression and gets the corresponding prediction upper limit using nls2 package. However, weird thing happened. When I called the function in the main program, an error message "fitted(nlsmodel): object 'nlsmodel' not found" came up. But when I directly ran the codes inside the function, no error came

latin hypercube sampling
Hi all, I am attempting to use latin hypercube sampling to sample different variable functions in a series of simultaneous differential equations. There is very little code online about lhs or clhs, so from different other help threads I have seen, it seems I need to create a probability density function for each variable function, and then use latin hypercube sampling on this pdf. So far, I
