Problems with server=domain
I compiled samba 2.0.2 on a intel RedHat 5.2 machine successfully. I then
set
up the machine according to the DOMAIN_MEMBER.html instructions to join my
domain. Everything seemed ok so far, i got the message:
change_trust_account_password: Changed password for domain INFO.
smbpasswd: Joined domain INFO
So far OK, right.
I set up the smb.conf like this. The options in Global that are commented

Samba 2.0.3
Hi,
I am unable to log into samba anymore since I upgraded to 2.0.3. I've
attached my smb.conf below and I've even gone to trying the CVS releases to
see if one of them will help.
First of all, I get soemthing like

Sipura 2k voice quality
When I have voip conversations over asterisk through my computer the voice
quality is nice and loud and quite clear. When I go through my Sipura 2K
then the conversations are typically very muted and my responses sound somewhat
delayed. I've tried fiddling with settings under asterisk and the 2K but
haven't had any luck. Can someone point me in the right direction to get

Bridge command in 1.6
Hi. I'm using Debian's 1.6.2.0 version of asterisk and trying to get an
understanding of bridging two lines together. I've seen the documentian
on the bridge command but a good example would probably help me more.
At the moment we have a number of SIP lines, one DAHDI line, and an IAX2
line that incoming calls can originate from. All the local phones are
SIP. What I would like

An even more strange win95 browsing problem
Hi,
I posted a few messages a couple of days ago about a strange windows 95
browsing problem with samba-2.0.2, 1.9.17p4 that none of our Windows 95
users can see our Linux shares, but all NT users can see the Linux
shares, and all 95 and NT users can see AIX shares. All of our Linux
and AIX use the save version of samba (I tested 2.0.2 and 1.9.17p4).
Yesterday, I tried to down grade the version

Hello,
you can compile opus with "--enable-fixed-point". That saves a cpu
ressources.

Lightweight LMTP daemon to avoid overkill MTA
Maybe nice to share some details?

I ended up 'hacking' LMTP support into the external spam filter. Someone
else already contributed 'real' patches to implement LMTP support, so
once I go live with this mail platform it should be stable.

Health check curl example
No worries. Now you are not using the passthrough(-p) mode. That is why dovecot is telling you that your client is not compatible.
Using "script" without -p would require you to implement that protocol: http://doc.dovecot.org/admin_manual/health_check.html#script-protocol.
I believe all you want to do is to keep this line
executable = script -p health-check.sh
and just replace

The -e parameter is used to define a "list of environment variables", so the error message telling you that you did not define a script is right.
So far i understood that you wanted to use passthrough mode, so do not use -e but -p. (except you need to define some environment-variables for your script).
Executing the script executable standalone does not work it must be started from

Mail account brute force / harassment
All your approaches are not well thought out.
The best solutions are always the simplest ones.
KISS principle dictates so.

I can't yet use -p, the version I have is not supporting it still :(
Maybe it is better to wait until alpine linux updates the package.

Userdb userdb_mail=, error Mailbox list driver maildir++: maildir_name not supported by this driver
With this setting, all folders are empty, I guess understandable,
because the mdbox has its own indexes stored locally with it. Does not
explain though why inbox is empty.

Bug maybe already resolved? Sieve rule does not accept special use folder names
Hmmm, confusing, clients should then display the mailbox name redirected
by the server.
If a user in a front end just sees the 'Junk E-mail', that is the name
he is going to be using in his mailbox rules. If he does not know that
this is actually the Junk folder on the server, he will make an
incorrect message rule.
So I guess you have to correct this server side, before storing
