Seems to be a mismatch between the Net-SNMP package and your current compiler:
configure:7857: checking for Net-SNMP version via net-snmp-config
configure:7863: result: 5.6.1.1 found
configure:7866: checking for Net-SNMP cflags

Can Samba run on Unisys?
We need to save a file from Windows server 2000 to a Unisys mainframe.
I have seen bits and pieces on the web that suggest this may be possible
but nothing definitive.
Can somebody advise? If not Samba, is there another software that will
do the same thing?
We currently use Samba to save files from Windows to Unix.
Thanks very much.

[LLVMdev] LLVM job opportunity at Unisys
During the past 12 months we have been doing some exciting research to accelerate the execution performance of a instruction stream for a 36-bit CISC mainframe architecture being emulated on Intel platforms. This research has been focused in the area of dynamic binary translation. We are using the LLVM IR and JIT in our project to execute thousands of small compiles to optimize this execution

Unisys is looking for a Compiler Specialist for our facility in Roseville, MN. We have a ClearPath mainframe product line that has been running on custom CMOS CPUs. The Unisys 36-bit OS2200 CISC mainframe architecture has been evolving for many years and is too expensive to continue implementing in custom silicon, so we have also produced a version

Clustered xAPIC and Unisys ES7000 patch
Here is a patch for clustered xAPIC and Unisys ES7000 support in Xen. To
turn the features on add CONFIG_X86_CLUSTERED_APIC and CONFIG_ES7000
defines to xen/include/asm-x86/config.h

SSH ?
I have a FTP server behind my firewall. Thanks to Tom
it works. Next I would like protect the username and
password. With out a firewall. I would just create a
SSH user on the firewall and connect. I think the
easiest way is to do this is to forward port 22 to my
ftp server.
Is there a way to have the firewall handle the ssh
session and forward the rest of the packet to the ftp
server. This

static libgcc issue on solaris 8
Hello all,
little question. Has somebody already compiled samba on SunOS 5.8
because I cannot statically link libgcc libraries.
I already tried "gcc -static-libgcc", added "-lgcc_s" to LIBS variable
but always the same result.
Below resulted compiled binary ..
# ldd bin/ntlm_auth
