I work for IBM and our developers have used jCIFS 0.8.2 in our product. We are now going through legal approval and have some questions. If people submit code changes to your product, do you find out if the submitter has the right to distribute the code? If so, do they need to sign any kind of statement? Hi, I have installed samba 2.2.7 and cannot get swat to work. I have entry in /etc/services file and alo in /etc/xinetd.d/swat. To work around this I had to go into Windows Explorer and change the folder options from "Enable Web Contents in Folders" to "Use Windows Classic Folders". We're using Samba 2.2.5 and 2.2.7 in SECURITY=DOMAIN mode. This morning we lost contact with our PDC, and for about 2 hours, users were unable to logon. After chasing this down, we determined that we were also unable to contact the WINS server defined in smb.conf. Our backup WINS server was available, but it seems Samba only supports one WINS server in smb.conf, so this didn't help
