[RFC] DWARF Version 6 Proposal For Heterogeneous Debugging
Hi llvm-dev, I'm writing on behalf of a team at AMD working on upstreaming support for AMD GPUs into GDB. We have drafted a proposal of backwards compatible extensions to DWARF for heterogeneous debugging which is rendered at https://llvm.org/docs/AMDGPUDwarfProposalForHeterogeneousDebugging.html. The proposal includes a thorough introduction with justification, so I won't belabor that

Any android source client for icecast ?
Try "XIIALive Lite", it works perfectly for my Icecast/Vorbis stream. The 'lite' version is free and works fine (ad supported). *xiialive*.com // On 11/16/2011 06:33 AM, michel memeteau wrote: > Hi all , > > Just wondering if any Android icecast source is on the Way. > > the point is that I build a mobile Icecast source with 3G. I'd search freshmeat/sourceforge/cpan before doing anything... there might already be a library or package for general-purpose web-grepping.. If not you can probably use a "HTML to ascii" converter (or some Perl/awk tag strip construct) which will reduce fluff in the pages. I find it easier to throw away data I know I _don't_ want first (though, if I knew regular expressions

Any android source client for icecast ?
He's asking for a SOURCE client, not a _listener_ client. I don't think such a thing exists at the moment. [LLVMdev] [PROPOSAL] LLVM multi-module support
Hi Tobias, I didn't really get it. Is the idea that the same bitcode is going to be codegen'd for different architectures, or is each sub-module going to contain different bitcode? In the later case you may as well just use multiple modules, perhaps in conjunction with a scheme to store more than one module in the same file on disk as a convenience. [LLVMdev] [PROPOSAL] LLVM multi-module support
I'm not convinced that having multi-module IR files is the way to go. It just seems like a lot of infrastructure/design work for little gain. Can the embedded modules have embedded modules themselves? How deep can this go? If not, then the embedded LLVM IR language is really a subset of the full LLVM IR language. How do you share variables between parent and embedded modules? I feel that

Shades of Doom

Doom Builder 1
My primary use for Wine is to run an application called Doom Builder 1.86. It's a GUI-based level editor for the 1994 id Software game Doom. It is available at http://www.doombuilder.com/ In Wine versions 1.3.28 and below this has always run without major problems, the only "workarounds" being to put msvbsm60.dll and oleaut32.dll in the program folder, and set oleaut32 native in

wcmd crashes all the time on the set command.
Below is a crash I get on my gentoo box when I execute the set command in wcmd. I believe the problem is caused by wine using the entire enviornment from my linux machine: john@jmd0 ~ $ wcmd WCMD Version 0.17 W:\home\john>set ALLUSERPROFILE=c:\windows\Profiles\Administrator ALLUSERSPROFILE=c:\windows\Profiles\Administrator ANT_HOME=/usr/share/ant-core CLASSPATH=. Iconv enviornment variable missing????
I am getting the following message: /reformatting crontab(1), please wait.../ /conv: conversion from utf8 unsupported/ I used crontab merely as an example on the command line. It is not directly a wine problem, but it does affect my operation of the wine package. I remember a few weeks ago someone posted a set of enviornment variables to set -- to instruct iconv to translate from all

[LLVMdev] GSoC 2012 Proposal: Automatic GPGPU code generation for llvm
Hi Yabin, Instead of compile the LLVM IR to PTX asm string in a ScopPass, you can also the improve llc/lli or create new tools to support the code generation for Heterogeneous platforms[1], i.e. generate code for more than one target architecture at the same time. Something like this is not very complicated and had been implemented[2,3] by some people, but not available in LLVM mainstream.

environment question: changing variables from a formula through model.frame?
Hello all, I came across a behavior of R with environments that I'm not sure what is causing it. It involves changing variables that are found through using model.frame on a formula inside a function. I wonder if it's a "bug" or a "feature". And in either case, how it might be managed. Here is a simple example: # let's say we have an x and y variables: temp_x

[OT] Online music database
(Already noting the posts that say this is not available) Are you willing to deal with "non authoritative" answers in your query? If so, you can write some scripts that talk CGI to a commercial music vendor. I use a (no longer available) MP3 tagger called "MP3 Internet Renamer". It would go out and request a web page from the "All Music Guide" (

[RFC] DWARF Version 6 Proposal For Heterogeneous Debugging
Hi Scott, It's possible they've missed it, so I've explicitly CC'ed a number of the usual DWARF suspects, at least some of whom are on the standards committee. I don't have anything specific to add myself. James On Mon, 27 Apr 2020 at 15:25, via llvm-dev <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > I don't know what an acceptable ping rate on an RFC is, but I also

Fw: Problem with Icecast as Windows-services
Hallo Leo, Thanks for answering my question. The source client is not on the same machine. We have found the solution: it was the Windows Firewall setting on the Windows 2003 machine. Any android source client for icecast ?
Hi all , Just wondering if any Android icecast source is on the Way. the point is that I build a mobile Icecast source with 3G. My choices are : - Buy a X86 netbook with Ubuntu with 8 hours streaming - Buy a GalaxyTab 7 inches ( same price ) on Android 2010/12/6 Leo Currie <leo.currie at gmail.com> > I don't have an Android phone, but if I did, I would look for a VLC >
