Sieve
Hello,
Im newbie at sieve. I have a nice script running on my boxes,
and I have the following question:
Using Sieve,
is there a RULE to find out if String "MYTESTSTRING"
is ANYWHERE inside the Email, or ANYWHERE inside the HEADER at least --
in order to trigger actions like "discard;" consequently ?
Thank you so much in advance
best Regards

Two nmbd processes on 2.2.6
Hello,
I have downloaded and compiled 2.2.6 to replace my 2.2.6pre.
I spent a large part of the day debugging the startup script because it
seemed to always be starting two nmbd processes instead of one.
Eventually I tried running just /usr/local/samba/bin/nmbd - and still got
two nmbd processes. Is this correct behaviour?
On the first server (Dell 4600) I thought it might be because it has

Weird samba problems .....
Hi,
some days ago i sent a mail regarding a small samba installation
with periodically dying nmbds. Since the customer didn't call
again regarding these problems I had the opinion that everything is
fine ....
Today the customer called and mentioned that there are additional
problems. He had fixed the nmbd problem everyday by rebooting .... :-)
Now the smbds also start to die. Again no

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

The situation is as described in the samba distribution documenet

All is well when the WINS proxy samba and the

Weird samba problems / more info
I have a level 10 debug of the smbd/oplock process_local_message problem
but can still not figure out what causes the unknown UDP message command
code. I checked the source but could only see that this is an invalid
opcode command.
Anyone a clue what is happening here ?
Might wrong opcode commands crash samba ?

PDC for Multiple Domains from a Single Samba Box
I've struggled with this for a couple of weeks, and have looked at countless
posts and at the Samba documentation collection with no real solution.
I'm setting up a lab that needs to have multiple domains (for machine / user
segregation politics) for around 40 windows XP professional machines. I have
a single Linux server running Suse 9.2. I would like for this server to be

Problem setting up Shorewall with 2 public IP''s
Greetings.
I run an Amateur Radio system (ampr.org) that requires 2 public ip''s on a RH 9.0 box. The primary one is 209.52.173.97 and is used for connections to the normal linux system and the usual apps such as web, ssh, smtp, etc. The secondary address is 209.52.173.98 and is routed via a pseudoslip link to the systems ampr address of 44.135.163.21. This setup takes place in the

Multiple Samba's on same machine
I have tried hunting through docs/lists/Google but no joy. I am sure I saw something about running multiple Samba's on different ports but I want to use different interfaces all on port 139.
So: Can I run multiple s/nmbd's on the same machine?
I have nine main VLANs and somewher in the region of 30 odd worgroups (don't ask !) of which 10 are of interest. 3,500 odd PCs. I have a

Monitoring _real_ CPU utilization
Is there any way to monitor the _real_ CPU utilization for a given
xen installation?
I have a 4x dual-core AMD system running 10 domU''s, and I''m not sure
if I''m overloading or under-utilizing the hardware.
I''ve been using xentop to see how much virtual cpu each domU (and
dom0) is consuming, but I''m finding it hard to figure out what the

Hi
I am trying to setup an ipip tunnel to another linux router and am having serious

Mode: switch and DHCP problems on network with many nodes
Hi All,
I currently have the following setup.
One central node called BackBone with the following conf:
Name = Backbone
Mode = switch
AddressFamily = ipv4
ReplayWindow=64
Compression=10
I also have approximately 440 nodes connected to this node with the
following setup:
Name = xxxxxx
Mode = switch
ConnectTo = Backbone
Compression = 10
There is dnsmasq on Backbone that serves ips to the nodes
