I'm looking for some help in getting R to compile on Sunos. We run a collection of Sunos and Solaris machines in the department here. I got to compile on Solaris 2.5.1 using gcc 2.7.2.2. On my Sunos 4.1.3 (and I've tried it on Sunos 4.1.4 as well) machines, it crashes during the compile. I'm using gcc 2.8.1 on there. It gets to this point: gcc -g -O2 -I../include

Terpstra (Samba-3 by Example) I have migrated an NT4 PDC to Samba 3.0.14a-2 on Fedora Core 4 (Cries of amazement) The clients (XP, NT4WS, Win2K, 98 and 95) didn't notice the switch (once I had made all the correct folders!) My questions now are fine tuning and filling in gaps in my Windows knowledge.

Why would I have some NT domains more than once? Did I screp up my import with the Vampire? Should I delete the unmapped ones (Gulp!) Hi All, Fairly new to Debian and Xen but I have a box running with lots of DomUs under Xen2 and it is fine. I have setup a new IBM eServer P4 and loaded Etch and loaded Xen3. It runs up my first DomU beautifully but when I start my second DomU it crashes the PC and reboots. If I comment out the line in /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp (network-script network-bridge) It will run 2 DomUs Have I run

Samba 3.6.2 My Domain Admins, including root, don't get admin permissions on local PCs. My Windows 7 clients can join the domain but when I look in the Administrators group it shows the sid for the Domain Admins group (RID = 512) and the icon has a question mark net groupmap list seems OK Any ideas where to look next? Hi All, I have just built a new P 4 1.8 RH8.0 Server rpmed up to Samba 2.2.7-2 It works GREAT for smbmounted shares on my linux boxes and sssllllooooowwww on my Windows clients (2K and 98) Specifically, moving a 15 Mb file over my 100 MBit network with one hub takes around 20 sec for the smbmounted share on a Linux box and 8 minutes on a Win2K/98 box.
