socket options
Do the socket options still work with versions of samba above 1.9.16p10? I
get error messages both on the command line and in the smb.log file that say:
Unknown socket option IPTOS_LOWDELAY
Unknown socket option TCP_NODELAY
Here is my smb.conf Global parameter entry:
socket options = IPTOS_LOWDELAY TCP_NODELAY
Do these have to be compiled into the Samba program?
If these are outdated

Error Message
I noticed this error message within some of my users log files;
rpc_server/srv_samr_nt.c:_samr_query_aliasmem(2626) _samr_query_aliasmem:
Not yet implemented.
Why does this mean and what do I need to do to stop this error message from
appearing.
BTW, the users all have XP machines.

Xen, Dual Core, Windows and QNX
I''m fairly new to both Xen and Linux, my boss wants me to try and get
Xen working on a new dual core running both Windows and QNX (we need to
do some real time processing). Ideally he wants Windows to be a host
(although from what I have read this isn''t possible yet?) and QNX as a
guest. I''m guessing a Linux Dom0 will be needed and then the others run
as guests. Does

Support for QNX 4.25
Hello,
I wanted to find out if your team would be willing to develop an OpenSSH
port for QNX 4.25.
We have several open source tools we would like to utilize as part of our
QNX based development environment. Mnay of them require SSH capability
which currently doesn?t exist for QNX 4.X.
Please let me know if your team would be willing to make such a port
available. I am reasonably certain

openssh and QNX
Hi.
I have compiled openssh on QNX RTP 6.1, "x86-pc-nto-qnx". Some things to note if anyone should want to update configure and include support for this platform:
* The enthropy device is normally /dev/random
* INTXX and other similar types are in <stdint.h>
* macro howmany, constant NFDBITS and type fd_mask need to be defined. How this can be done has been discussed earlier

Can't build 3.0.4 under QNX 6.1.0
I've been trying to build Samba 3.0.4 on QNX 6.1.0.
1. I downloaded the source tarball "samba-latest.tar.gz" from a mirror
site. The downloading was done on an MS-Windows system. The tarball was
transferred to the QNX box by loading into Emacs on MS-Windows with "M-x
find-file-literally" then saving it with Emacs's ftp facility: "C-x C-w

poll.h vs sys/poll.h on QNX Neutrino
From the ChangeLog:
- dtucker at cvs.openbsd.org 2007/06/25 12:02:27
[atomicio.c]
Include <poll.h> like the man page says rather than <sys/poll.h>.
ok djm@
This was probably ill-advised given the
history of this header file. Some older
systems, and some not-quite-XSI-compliant
systems such as QNX Neutrino, still have
<sys/poll.h> but not <poll.h>.

Xen and QNX
I am trying to get QNX working with Xen. I''ve going about it in a
similar way as installing windows with Xen, but when I start the guest
up to install the OS it hangs on the line:
''Hit Esc for .altboot.......''
If anyone has managed to get this working, or has any ideas/advice for
me here it would be greatly appreciated!

sp_expire is 0 in QNX Neutrino
QNX Neutrino does not support the shadow
password database properly. Apart from
misdocumenting /etc/shadow as having 4
fields when in fact it has 5 (including
the "last changed" field), its getspnam()
fills in the sp_expire field of the spwd
structure with 0. And since by default,
shadow support is enabled and the
configure script turns on HAS_SHADOW_EXPIRE
when it finds that field,

[Bridge] BCP code ported to pppd 2.4.2
Hello,
i have ported the BCP (Bride Control Protocol) patch for pppd 2.4.1
mentioned in
http://lists.osdl.org/pipermail/bridge/2004-September/000619.html
to pppd 2.4.2. The kernel patch still works without problems with kernel
2.4.30.
Perhaps someone else could use this patch ...
Here again some documentation i have found about the BCP patch somewere

gsub with perl=TRUE results in 'this version of PCRE is not compiled with Unicode property support' in R-devel
Why are you reporting that your PCRE library does not have something
which the R-admin manual says it should preferably have? To wit,
footnote 37 says
'and not PCRE2, which started at version 10.0. PCRE must be built with
UTF-8 support (not the default) and support for Unicode properties is
assumed by some R packages. Neither are tested by configure. JIT support
is desirable.'

[PATCH] nv50: don't allocate in the param buffer
Since we upload all parameters on every program / constbuf change,
we don't have to reserve space and can just use the whole buffer.
Doesn't apply to the buffer holding immediates.
