I checked the archives and automounter is only mentioned for home dirs. Our organization would like to implement SAMBA but we have over 150 mount points. Is there a way we can use automounter maps with SAMBA? Having to edit smb.conf each time we add/remove a mount point would be quite annoying and time consuming. I am running samba version 1.9.18p4 on a sinix machine (unix svr4). My NT workstations use the german code page 850. In earlier versions of samba (1.9.17p2) the character mapping worked just fine, using character set = iso8859-1 client code page = 850 in my smb.conf.
