samba main cvs branch seems to be broken on 64-bit boxes.....
hi there :)
the code in util.c seems to have some bugs w/regard to compilation on
64-bit machines. in this case, the hardware is an Alpha running redhat
4.2 with pam turned off in the makefile.
i get a whole series of errors, all of which say "passing arg 'n' of
'function' from incompatible pointer type. in util.c, checked out of the

Help on seting SAMBA on a Intergraph server running CLIX
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello:
I'm trying to share a partition on a Intergraph 6480 running CLIX.
The OS is CLIX version 3.1 (ISS) r.7.6.20.
The server is at a University Lab and all the clients are either
Windows NT or Windows 95.
I tried NFS, but Windows doesn't support it natively and is much
slower/unreliable than SAMBA.
Does SAMBA support this

Hi everybody,
I'm tying to make this design program run through wine on a ubuntu hardy 8.04.
After some struggling and getting dlls I got the installation end properly (at least it seems so), but when I try to launch the program from the programs menu I get a tiny window saying:
"gstart
Run-time error 380 Invalid Property value"
If I run the program from a terminal I get:

Hi Al,
Here's a set of patches that:
(1) Provides a convenience member in struct fs_context that is OR'd into
sb->s_iflags by sget_fc().

Hi Al,
Here's a set of patches that converts a bunch (but not yet all!) to the new

sb->s_iflags by sget_fc().
(2) Provides a convenience helper function, vfs_init_pseudo_fs_context(),
for doing most of the work in mounting a pseudo filesystem.

[PATCH 00/79] fs: new accessors for inode->i_ctime
I've been working on a patchset to change how the inode->i_ctime is
accessed in order to give us conditional, high-res timestamps for the
ctime and mtime. struct timespec64 has unused bits in it that we can use
to implement this. In order to do that however, we need to wrap all
accesses of inode->i_ctime to ensure that bits used as flags are
appropriately handled.
This patchset first

[Bridge] [PATCH 000/141] Fix fall-through warnings for Clang
Hi all,
This series aims to fix almost all remaining fall-through warnings in
order to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough for Clang.
In preparation to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough for Clang, explicitly
add multiple break/goto/return/fallthrough statements instead of just
letting the code fall through to the next case.
Notice that in order to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough for Clang, this
