Log formatting: quoting format option flags in Perl
Hello, I'm having trouble with setting desired punctuation and spaces with log formatting in a perl script. The log-format options I am using are --log-format=%h%a%l%o%f%t%u%c. Full rsync command at end of this message. When I run the rsync command and write the results to a file, $results = `$rsyncstr 2>&1`, my log format options are ignored if I have the options quoted in the

FLAC: editing software
I just tried this with Goldwave.. it decoded the file, i edited out some stuff, and saved the file (flac format) and the tags appear to be intact. Perl Net::Doveadm
Hi all, In response to a discussion last week about API access--and notwithstanding Aki?s encouragement that integrators prefer the HTTP-based API--I?ve released a Perl module that facilitates access to Dovecot via the Doveadm protocol: https://metacpan.org/pod/Net::Doveadm I hope it?s useful. -Felipe Gasper Mississauga, ON

[PATCH v3 2/6] v2v: ova: don't detect compressed disks, read the OVF instead

[PATCH 2/2] v2v: -i ova: Factor out the OVF parsing into a separate module.
Mixing the XML parsing with the other functions of this module made it very hard to understand. Splitting the XML parsing into another module simplifies the flow considerably. This is just code refactoring and should not affect the semantics. --- v2v/Makefile.am | 2 + v2v/input_ova.ml | 323 +++++++++++---------------------------------- v2v/parse_ovf_from_ova.ml | 226

Making the linker output the relevant dynamic stuff
Well, I figured out how to make the linker to the right thing with regards to producing a dynamic section for the core... it involves using the options "-pie -Bsymbolic" ... which means we're building a relocatable binary even though we don't want to relocate it, and -Bsymbolic is there to force the linker to resolve all symbols at link time. -hpa

[PATCH] ltc/gm107: wait on relevant bit in gm107_ltc_cbc_wait
Patch "ltc/gm107: use nvkm_mask to set cbc_ctrl1" sets the 3rd bit of the CTRL1 register instead of writing it entirely in gm107_ltc_cbc_clear(). As a counterpart, gm107_ltc_cbc_wait() must also be modified to wait on that single bit only, otherwise a timeout may occur if some other bit of that register is set. This happened at least on GM206 when running glmark2-drm. While we are at
