I am trying to list the shares on an NT 4.0 SP3 system. I supply the -L <host> and -U <user> parameter and the password. The password is correct, but I get an error 2242 returned. Hello We are running samba on SGI/SUN/HP fileservers. We saw a problem on the SGI fileservers. After a while a lot of defunct smbd deamons were hanging and occupying the slots in the process table.
