Problem with Win95 + DFS clients (fwd)
Hi,
I've found a problem with samba when printing from a client running win95
+ DFS. The print fails with a segmentation fault. The problem is that
Win95 does not return the proper file_fsp( smb_vwv0) when doing an IOCTL
request.This causes the file_fsp call in reply_ioctl (smbd/reply.c) to
fail cause a segmentation fault.
I do not understand how samba work, but here is my working patch

patch: smbclient lost some files
Dear developers,
I found a problem that 'smbclient' loses some files when it's creating
a tar ball. A patch attached this message is for samba 2.2.8a and
fixes this problem. Would you please check it?
I think there is a protocol mismatch with Windows 2000 at
cli_list_new() in libsmb/clilist.c (FIND FIRST2/FIND NEXT2). Samba
assumes that 'Last Name Offset' response field is

Problems with Unit Root testing using ur.df function
Hi All,
I'm new to R and am trying to run a unit root test on the vector "y" (a time
series of inflation (i.e. changes in the Consumer Price Index quarter on
quarter)).
I've run the Augmented-Dickey-Fuller Test below (R's URCA package). It gives
me an error that it cannot find the function ur.df unless I comment out the
third last line of code (see below).

battery.charge and other fixes needed for X-Power Tigra 1kVA
Hello all,
been 5 years since I posted on this list, glad to be back :)
I have a number of X-power Tigra 1kVA online UPS units. From some
knowledgeable folks working for the local distributor, I learnt that
from inside this looked like a Best 610 ups unit.
Before, I had this UPS hooked via serial to my Windows 2003 server. For
monitoring, some winpilot/upspilot software was also provided.

bug report: apcsmart (WIN) 940-0024C connect fail, problem with command 'E'
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have several old, yet functioning APC Smart-UPS (Model 600LS, Part AP600I,
Firmware 6JI, no EEPROM, from 1991). They are not supported by Powerchute
any more. I run NUT 2.6.5-4 on Windows XP SP3. I use COM1 port with cable
940-0024C. The connection fails with APC Smart protocol driver 3.0
(2.6.3-3534:3540M), APC command table version 3.0 or higher - it works with

smbclient and large file support
smbclient (and smbtar) in version 2.2.7a (and prior) has problems with
large files (> 4GB). The following patch (against 2.2.7a) fixes all
known problems with this. This code has been checked into the CVS tree
in all branches as well.

ERROR: cli_session_request() failed...
Hello,
I am using smbspool and I seem to be getting an error that I can't find
a solution to. I checked Google, Usenet and the samba archives. I seem
to find people with the problem, but no answer. When I try to use the
smbspool program, I get the following error:

AIX openssh patches
I have a few patches for AIX. The patchfile is attached below. The patch
has been tested on AIX4.2 and AIX4.3. The patch is on openssh-1.2.1pre25,
with openssl-0.94, using RSAref.
1) authenticate support - this function allows the system to determine
authentification. Whatever the system allows for login, authenticate
will too. It doesn't matter whether it is AFS, DFS, SecureID, local.

[LLVMdev] TOT opt does not terminate!
The following code causes opt to not terminate!
With TOT this morning, and of a week ago:
clang foo.c and clang -O1 foo.c
work fine.
clang -O2 foo.c and clang -O3 foo.c
do not terminate. (At least after 10 minutes)
If I generate the bit code (clang-cc -emit-llvmbc) and then run:
opt -O3 foo.bc
it does not terminate.
//foo.c

blazer driver: Possible bugs with battery packs
Hello all,
long time away from this list, glad to be around again!
I have this Powercom Vanguard VGN VGD-20K31. Some details of this model:
* 3-phase input, single phase output
* Model has 240V / 12V9AH x 20 x 2SET, plus another set of 20 batteries.
All in all, 3 sets
* Serial connection to Windows 2k3 server with UPSMon
Now I was strongly considering replacing the bundled no-good upsmoon

SCO lan manager
We have a linux pc (slackware 4.0, samba 2.0.5) acting as a gateway between two
subnet of our office. On my side of the net I have a mixed win95/NT/Samba
network, and on the other side we have some sco unix servers, running an old
lan-manager, os/2 like.
Gateway linux is a master browser, that enable us to see the other subnet,
but... I can't see the record for the sco-server in

Error ERRaccess in Samba 2.0.7 printing to Netgear print servers
I recently compiled and installed Samba 2.0.7 on SCO OpenServer 5.0.4
using gcc v 2.7.2.1 (Skunkware 98). I was running Samba 1.9.18p7 with
no problems. We use a modified smbprint.sysv script to print to
Windows shared printers and also Netgear PS104 print servers. Printing
to the Windows shared printers is working fine, but printing to the
Netgear print servers does not work. I get the

[LLVMdev] overflow check
Hi,
I have three constants (B, C and V) and V = B + C. I want to find out if B +
C wraps around. The way I'll do it is, assuming B and C are both positive,
to check if V < B or C.
For this I need the values of B, C and V. I tried using APInt as below.
***
If (isa<Constant> (B) && isa<Constant> (C) && isa<Constant>(V)) {
ConstantInt *CV =
