text mining
The following code is derived from a paper titled "Text Mining Infrastructure
in R" (http://www.jstatsoft.org/v25/i05/paper). The example below seems to
load some default documents for analysis, some sort of latin document. I
cannot for the life of me figure out to load my own document let alone an
entire corpus. I have searched the above documenet as well as related
documentation.

Reg. VNC server and Windows and Centos interworking
Hi all,
I have a Windows XP PC and a Centos PC (Centos 4.3 release, kernel- 2.6.9-34.EL) which are in the same LAN. Currently, I am able to use VNC server on the centos to view the Windows PC, but not able to view the Centos PC from the Windows PC. This applies for even file sharing also. The samba server is running and I can view the windows network from Centos PC but in the Windows network, not

HEAD and 2.0.4b - interworking?
Did I understand from something Jeremy said recently that a recommended
mode of operation for those wishing to try the full PDC support might
be:
1. all file servers running production version (currently 2.0.4b)
2. single PDC machine running HEAD branch
in order to get the stability and performance of the production version
while still being able to use the latest PDC functionality?

SER/Asterisk interworking mailing list.
Greetings,
As a developer and consultant who spends considerable time on projects
involving the fusion of Asterisk and products derived from the SER
ecosystem (OpenSER, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, the new SIP-Router), I have
found that there is a great volume of interest in this topic on the
mailing lists associated with all communities involved, but a
comparative lack of focus that results in

FW: Samba 1.9.17 fails to truncate share mode file (fwd)
Although the bug in Samba 1.9.17p1 which caused "ERROR: set_share_mode:
failed to ftruncate share mode file" messages in log.smb has been fixed
in 1.9.17p2, empty share* files are not being deleted from the lock file
directory.

samba-1.9.17 problem deleting files from DOS
I have just upgraded from 1.9.16p9 to 1.9.17.
Platform: SunOS 4.1.4
In a DOS window under WfW 3.11 I can not delete any files, including ones
created in the same DOS window, unless I wild card them:
fails: del a.txt
works: del a.*
Any ideas gratefully received!
Regards,
Mark.

SAMBA 1.9.17 and OLE servers
Hi,
I'm having problems with OLE servers registered on SAMBA 1.9.17 shared
mounts
on an IBM RS 6000 AIX 4.1.4.
I developed OLE servers with Microsoft Visual Basic and use them from
SAMBA mounted disks. This works fine with SAMBA 1.9.16p11 (as
well as on local disks or Netware disks).
Since the installation of SAMBA 1.9.17, the OLE servers don't work
anymore.
They register

1.9.17 printing across subnets
I cannot print across my subnets using microsoft win9networking.
I have two subnets 192.168.0 & 192.168.1 of which the linux
running samba server is the router using two ethernet cards .
Workstations on both subnets share their printers from win95.
Win95 machines from both sides of the subnet can telnet to both
ethernet cards on the server and can also ping all machines across
the two

Samba 1.9.17 fails to truncate share mode file (fwd)
Thank you for the information that you have passed on to me. My own
research has found that ftruncate is quite happy to set a file to the
same size that it is already, so something else must be causing the
problem. The comment before the ftruncate in set_share_mode says the
file is being truncated just for safety, so normally it is probably not
necessary to truncate the file.

Tim

Samba 1.9.17 server is not showing up in PDC browser list.
Hi,
I've just upgraded to Samba 1.9.17, but I can't get my samba server that
resides in a differnet subnet to show up in the PDC's browse list. I've got
samba configured as the local browse master and am registering with the wins
server with:
domain master = no
local master = yes
preferred master = yes
os level = 65
wins support = no

Passing arguments to a function within a function ...
Hallo Everybody
How do you specify arguments for a function used within another function?
Here is my problem:
I am reconstructing a calculator for the burden of disease due to air
pollution from publications and tools published by the WHO. The
calculations make use of published dose-response relationships for
particular health end-points. This is then applied to populations with

Everything is working fine (e.g. ftping, compiling, installing, etc.).
However, with the old version we are able to share a drive PUBLICLY for
those who doesn't have an account on our UNIX box and be able to use it on
NT/95/98 BUT with the new version it always asking for a password (
Initially we don't

Hi,
I've just read the postings regarding the interworking between * and SER.
As these persons seem quite knowledgeable on this, I would like to have
their advise on my planned installation:
- I have broadband cable access
- I plan to install a SIP-aware router
- I plan to install a Linux server with Digium analog IF card(s) for
connection to my analog line (incoming and outgoing)
- I plan

[RFC][LLD][ARM] Initial ARM port for LLD
Hello everyone,
The review http://reviews.llvm.org/D20951 implements initial support
for the ARM architecture in LLD. To keep the patch size down, and to
avoid the complexities of interworking between ARM and Thumb, there
is just enough support for an ARM only Hello World to link and run on
ARM Linux [*].
My main aim is to get this functionality committed as the basis of an
ARM port and would
