hello, when I use rsync from commandline (RH 7.2, ssh2), it works fine. rsync -e ssh -a -v zaloha@192.168.2.100:/home/samba/m/aaa.txt /home/m/aaa.txt but when I try to use it in crontab such as 33 11 * * * rsync -e ssh -a -v zaloha@192.168.2.100:/home/samba/m/aaa.txt /home/m/aaa.txt </dev/null or 33 11 * * * rsync -e ssh -a -v zaloha@192.168.2.100:/home/samba/m/aaa.txt /home/m/aaa.txt

panel ordering in nlme and augPred plots
Dear all I am trying nlme together with Pinheiro/Bates book. I constructed grouped data object with suitable plotting layout (according to some common factor, panels from bottom to top are in increasing order). When I do nlme(... some stuff...) I get fitted object which I can plot with plot(augPred(fit.nlme6, level=0:1)) but it results in completely different ordering. Is there any way

BUG: SAMBA 3.5.x and IBM TSM
Hi! I am using SAMBA 3.5.x and it doesn't work with IBM TSM. IBM TSM works properly with SAMBA 3.2.15. Is there any chance to solve this issue in future SAMBA versions? plot POSIX class and identify
Hallo all just a small question I did not find an answer in help pages. Is it possible to use identify() after plotting with plot.POSIX to label points and/or to find out some points? Thanks a lot. Best regards Petr Pikal petr.pikal at precheza.cz p.pik at volny.cz

Samba & Tivoli Storage Mgr (TSM) Integration Query ???
All, Can anyone confirm that Samba/Solaris will integrate with TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) when deployed into a Wintel client environment. ie. Solaris/Samba as a TSM client - we need to be sure that the ACL's will be maintained correctly via a TSM backup/restore (full or partial) Or confirm this does not work, which is not what we want to hear - but the truth will suffice. Many thanks,

samba GPFS and HSM?
Hi - I was wondering if any of you may be able to point me in the right direction. I am in the process of designing a fairly large fileserver solution in an MS Active directory environment. I have setup and tested ctdb samba, however, after several discussions with a couple of my colleagues, i am now considering a more vanilla flavour of samba. The key features the solution requires are: •

mystery "158"
Your data frame fam contains factors. Turn it into character strings using fam$Family = as.character(fam$Family) and try again. It may be helpful if you read up on R's factors, see ?factor. Well, ?factor does not say anything about this behaviour (assigning numeric code instead of level of factor). And actually if you do assignment for whole vector the result is different (vector in data frame is changed to factor). > temp2$fff[1]<-vec[1] > head(temp2,2) pokus minuty fff 1 T42 240 3 2 T42 300 <NA> > temp2$fff<-vec > head(temp2,2) pokus

Help needed with zfs send/receive
Hi folks, I''m having (as the title suggests) a problem with zfs send/receive. Command line is like this : pfexec zfs send -Rp tank/tsm@snapshot | ssh remotehost pfexec zfs recv -v -F -d tank This works like a charm as long as the snapshot is small enough. When it gets too big (meaning somewhere between 17G and 900G), I get ssh errors (can''t read from remote host). I tried

SMART3000RM2U?
Can anyone point me to information for getting the Tripplite SMART3000RM2U to work with NUT? Our newer Tripplite units seem to work with the usbhid-ups driver, but these older ones seem to need something different. So far I have had little success getting tripplite_usb to work. mystery "158"
This is a simple problem, but a mystery to me. I'm trying to grab $Family "Scelionidae" from one dataframe and put it into another dataframe occupied with NA in $Family. The result is a "158" ends up there instead of Scelionidae. Simply put fam$Family[1] <- least$Family[1] If I have made a mistake here, can somebody point it out. I've included the simple

Suspiciously broken filesystem
I appear to have a broken filesystem on this box to the point where I am probably going to rebuild the system since I have lost trust in it.... I was wondering if there was any reasonable postmortum work I could do on it before it gets rebuilt. History is that the laptop has a much mauled partition set on it - initially it came with 100% win2k, I then shrunk that and added linux (a RH71 install

IBM GPFS filesystem
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone might be able to speak about using IBM's GPFS filesystem as a means of storing virtual guests in a clustered environment with CentOS as the nodes and KVM as the hypervisor? I'm looking at using IBM's TSM software for archiving data from disk to tape. This requires buying a license for GPFS which is used in conjunction with TSM but can also be used

Subsetting a data.frame degenerates at one column?
Greetings. At the moment, I'm applying R to some AIX 'nmon' output, trying to get a handle on some disk performance metrics. In case anyone's interested: http://docs.osg.ufl.edu/tsm/pdf/ some of them are more edifying than others. (ahem) I'm trying to develop a somewhat general framework for plotting these measures, in the hopes that it's of some use to people other
