Value too large for defined data type
Howdy, I am just starting to use rsync and now have an rsync server set up to back up our various machines. I recently started getting an error that is confusing and I can't find info documented on it. I searched the news group and found it mentioned but no solution yet. I get the error when sync'ing from a Solaris 8 machine to my Solaris 8 server. stat

MAC address changes after cloning
Hi, I have x86 system and have used clonezilla to clone the entire hardisk of system A and restored it on another x86 system, system B. After the cloning process, i notice that the MAC address of the system B in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 is changed and is having the MAC address of system A. The interesting part is that if i do an ifconfig from the bash prompt, the MAC

TDD/TTY Support
On voip-info I found a few dated references to TDD support being in the alpha stage and buggy. Can anyone direct me to any newer information on this option? Question about residue and pdf
Dear list, I wonder if the flac encoded file has a great amount of bits due to the residue. I mean, what percentage of the flac file has information of the residue? Is this sequence represented by more than 80% of the flac file? On the other hand, which is the value typically adopted for the parameter "n" in the Rice coder? I know these results depend on the input wav file, but I

Plotting Question
Hello, I would like to produce a series of graphs comparing the probability distributions for 8 factors against a continuous metric. The kind of graph I'm hoping to produce would look like the density comparison graphs (library sm) using the function sm.density.compare. However, instead of calculating the density distributions for comparisons, I'd like this comparison to be based on

[LLVMdev] Win32 COFF Support
This is cool, I was looking into something like this, but hit a little bit of a wall, and then got sidetracked on another project. I was going to use llc to generate COFF object files as opposed to clang. Seems to me llc would give better control over what was generated and would also not require clang to be in the tree. Is there any documentation on how to run these tests from windows? - Nathan

[LLVMdev] [llvmdev] Whole function SelectionDAG
At first I'll try the simplest strategy: put the instruction in the machine BB corresponding to the LLVM BB where it comes from. To implement this, I plan to add an operand to non-passive node which points to the BasicBlockSDNode which the node belongs to. Another idea is to use a side map to map each node to its block. But I guess it's difficult to keep the map consistent when
