I did a NoOp and see what the callerid was and when coming from the SIP Ext->Voip it is set to the Extension Number of the SIP Extension (as you would expect). When coming from the Panasonic the CallerID is blank, I tried setting it to nothing again, and I tried setting it to the callerid of the voip provider, a sip extension id, the extension number on the Panasonic side, the zap channel

"file has vanished" Chinese characters...
Hi gang. I am running cwRsync on Windows XP systems and synching to a FreeBSD server. One user uses unicode because he needs Chinese characters. During a synchronization I get many "file has vanished" messages; the filename contains question marks. Is there any way to deal with this? Rsync iconv (Cygwin) (file has vanished)
I have another question. I'm not sure if this is the correct post for cygwin rsync related questions. I've compiled rsync 3.0.0pre8 under cygwin. Works splendidly and compiles cleanly. I made sure to have libiconv installed and it supports the --iconv command (at least it accepts it). I've been using rsync to test a backup of some files from a windows box to a linux box. I use

Special Characters in Filenames -> rsync error code 24, files vanished
Hello, there are problems syncing files with special charcters in the filename. The special characters in the filename are displayed as a question mark. During synchronization, the rsync tells the file is vanished. Here is the standard output with level 1 verbosity. Higher verbosity levels dont give more informations about the problem. The stat command with this file succeed. file has vanished:

vanished files are very annoying
Hey, I'm using rsync to transfer 100GB webserver files from one server to another. I have user who have ftp access to the folders that I transfer, so some files vanish while the transfer is going on. I read about the bug report https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3653 But that was last year and the bug report doesn't mention a real solution except the bash script. Did anything

intel nic vanished with 5.3
Hi I have boxes with a quad card that shows up with e1000 e1000_probe: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection However since rebuilding a box from 4.7 to 5.3 this card has vanished - I would have thought this card is pretty generic so i dont believe there are not drivers for it - Any other thoughts? It does not show up at all in messages etc, and ethtool knows nothing of it either. thanks

Avoid return code 24 (file vanished) with command line option?
Hi! Is it possible to avoid this error condition by specifying a command line option? I haven't found an obvious one in the manual. Background: We are using rsync for a live backup of our home directories. Emails are stored in Maildir format within the homedirectories. The rsync process is running for some time and in the meantime emails get deleted because users still have IMAP access. The
