https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2628 ------- Additional Comments From wayned@samba.org 2005-04-20 01:11 ------- You didn't mention the client command you're running. As for the log-data output by a --daemon, did you look in the appropriate syslog file? or check the rsyncd.conf file to see if it is logging to a file? You can also use the "max verbosity" setting

Jails and multihoming
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 All, are there any plans to allow FreeBSD jails to bind to more than one IP address? My scenario (virtual hosting) : 3 front-end hosts with 2 interfaces each, one on the public network, the other on a private subnet. 1 back-end host, providing NFS mounts for the front-ends. This scenarion is not uncommon in ISP environments, usually with a big

attempting login with hostname not username
Hi. I'm running a RH 9 machine with Samba 3.0.0 as a domain member of a Win2003 ADS domain. I've setup samba w/ winbind and added a test share on the Linux box. I can see and access Windows shares from my Linux box, but I cannot access the Linux share from a Win2k machine. I can see the Linux machine and the just fine when browsing the network, but when I attempt to access the share I

I'm setting up a server where I plan to use Jails to improve security I also have installed and am configuring ipfilter. Here are my questions: Because I'm using Jails, I will have to have multiple ip aliases on the network interface. I will use ipfilter to specify what can go to each of the addresses. (e.g., allow only incoming to port 80 on the jail running apache). Another

[PATCH 5/6] New APIs: copy-in and copy-out
Currently implemented as guestfish commands, provide them instead as single source -> destination functions for the library, so they can be used also in other places. These functions are not added to guestfish, since guestfish has its own implementation (which will soon switch to call copy-in and copy-out for multiple paths). --- generator/actions.ml | 28 ++++++ po/POTFILES | 1 +

Solution to managing an entire directory in a "waterfall" configuration
The subject may not make a lot of sense so let me try and explain. I''ve searched the archives and come up short so my apologies if this has indeed been addressed before. I have a function that looks like this: define remotedir($mode, $owner, $group, $source, $ensure = directory, $recurse = inf) { file { $name: mode => $mode, owner
