overlaid filled contour plots
I'm trying to make a set of contour plots of bivariate kernel density estimates, showing three such plots overlaid, similar to this plot http://euclid.psych.yorku.ca/SCS/Private/Test/ridge-boot2.pdf except that I would like to have the contours *filled* (using transparent colors). To make this reproducible, I've saved the results of KernSmooth::bkde2D() in the following file:

file.copy
Hi, Copying a non-existing file with file.copy creates an empty file > r <- file.copy("non-existing-file", ".") > r [1] TRUE ... and returns TRUE! Now, when used in "vectorized" mode > r <- file.copy(c("toto1", "toto2"), c("dest1", "dest2")) [1] FALSE FALSE file.copy looks much more reasonable,

GlusterFS, move files, Samba ACL...
[ Received no feedback, i resend it... ] A little strange things, but i'm hitting my head on the wall... I needed to 'enlarge' my main filesystem (XFS backed-up), that contain my main samba share and a brick for a GFS share; i've setup a new volume (for the VM), formatted XFS, move all the file taking care to umount and stop GFS (so, syncing the brick, not the GFS filesystem)

Feature request: Being able specify that the destination should follow source directory structure.
Greetings. If I do this: rsync --hard-links one.server.com::"module/somedir/images/redhat/3.0WS/en/os/i386 module/someotherdir/1.0/images/redhat/3.0WS/en/os/i386" /export/distros I get: /export/distros/i386/... and a conflict between the two sources. I want for destination: /export/distros/images/redhat/3.0WS/en/os/i386 /export/distros/1.0/images/redhat/3.0WS/en/os/i386 In other

problem restoring via rsync when using stored ACLs (--fake-super)
Hello, In summary, i appear to have encountered a bug when attempting to restore files using rsync 3.0.0pre4 (matt) with stored ACLs (via --fake-super). The ACL information appears to be correctly stored as xattrs on the backup server; however, when i attempt to restore while preserving the ACL data, i get the following error: ERROR: out of memory in get_xattr_data [sender] Questions: 1. ACL and link-dest
Hello, I am trying to use ACL and link-dest without success. Here is what I do. First step, without ACL : rsync -ai --link-dest=<date_folder_1> --link-dest=<date_folder_2> /sourcedir myserver::backup/$(date)/ All works fine there, my files are hard linked together, "ls -li" on myserver confirms. Second step, adding ACL : rsync -aiA --link-dest=<date_folder_1>

CVS rsync hangs during local copy
Dear rsync people (particularly Wayne), I am finding that the CVS version of rsync hangs during most, but not all, local copies. The problem goes away if I pass --protocol=29, so I'm guessing it is related to the incremental file-list sending. The hanging seems to be timing-dependent. Increasing the verbosity level seems to increase the chance of a hang. If I run rsync repeatedly with the

[LLVMdev] RFC: Exception Handling Proposal Revised
Hi Bill, this proposal seems strangely complicated. I don't see the advantage of the dispatch instruction over just attaching the information to each invoke. Right now you have invoke void @_Z3foov() to label %invcont unwind label %catch.handlers catch.handlers: landingpad dispatch resume to label %... catches [ %struct.__fundamental_type_info_pseudo* @_ZTIi, label

playlist streaming
is it true it's not possible to start or stop indvidual streams using icecast2+icegenerator(liveice,ezstream) combination? i've tried mp3 directory streaming as well as playlist streaming - it works, but with no possibility to see full mp3 file listing and play control (like choosing a song, starting, stopping play). Icecast can't even diferentiate /dev/dsp input from playlist input.
