How to log a Sieve match in Dovecot debug_log
Hi everybody!
I manage a mail server running Dovecot 2.2.21 with Pigeonhole 0.4.10. I successfully configured sieve and use it also to filter some spam messages. Here is one of the script I use to filter messages on the basis of prohibited words in message body.
As you can see, the last command writes to the log the action of this script.

Sieve Advice Needed, Please
Anybody here familiar with the Sieve language?
I'm rebuilding my mail server, and I am working with the sieve language to
automatically filter spam into a separate account. However, I've hit a
snag that I can't get around.
BTW, I'm using a clean install of dovecot, postfix, spamassassin on Debian 7.5.
I want to do server-side spam filtering, so I've got spamasassin

How to log a Sieve match in Dovecot debug_log
Hi Volker!
This is what I wanted to avoid with my question. I reported my script with only three word just to make an example but my list is quite longer than this. Let's suppose a list of 30 or 40 words... 30 or 40 rules? Possible but very unconfortable to manage.
A more compact version of the script could be this:

mailtrain with dovecot antispam plugin
Hello all, and Johannes if you're around,
I was trying to set up the "new" antispam plugin with the mailtrain
backend, and i was trying to use the sendmail binary that's part of a
qmail system. The message wouldn't get sent and i kept getting exit
error 100 from the /var/qmail/bin/sendmail binary. To try to figure out
what was happening, i mean a fake sendmail program,

Double quote scp?
I've noticed that I need to double quote file names in scp:

Why is this necessary? Wouldn't it be much better to have scp
communicate with its server-side counterpart with null-terminated
strings, not to have the server interpret the

Let me know if you need anything else.

Filter files received on scp server
Hey,
So, I would be looking at type A. Forgive me if my understanding of how OpenSSH operates is not reflective of reality. I am assuming that, the file transfer is happening somewhat logically, with a name being known, content written, blah blah.
>From reading scp.c, it appears that, the client end at least knows the file name so I must assume the server end must be given it.

Best practices in developing package: From a single file
Mehmet,
That is a loaded topic, not unlikely other topics preoccupying us these days.
There is package.skeleton() in base R as you already mentioned. It drove me
bonkers that it creates packages which then fail R CMD check, so I wrote a
wrapper package (pkgKitten) with another helper function (kitten()) which
calls the base R helper and then cleans up it---but otherwise remains
faithful to it.

Hitman: Blood Money won't start (Fixes for some errors here)
Hi, I am trying to get Hitman Blood Money working on my Ubuntu 9.04 computer.
Here are my specs though they are most likely irrelevant:
Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope: no modifications to the kernel or Xorg or anything.
AMD Sempron 3100+: Worked fine in Windows, works fine now.
1GB DDR Ram: Single stick, memtested and passed.
ATi Radeon 3650 HD (1gb): Rare version of the 3600 series. Works fine in

i've reported this issue before, so i guess this is a regression. looks
like the python bindings for 0.9.3 are leaking file descriptors:
