FETCH got too little data (+ wrong W value) with 1 byte offset
Hi there, I juste set up dovecot as local imap server last week, with maildir format. Things went fine with two "low volume" accounts, until I added another one. Then I see two different things with connected clients: 1/ Quite oftent well formed messages that appear... and disappear quite immediately. On the server, the messages concerned by 2/ seem to be there, I can open the files

7zip benchmark
Hi, I could try latest 7zip (4.57) on a triple boot machine (Debian SID i386, x86_64 and native Windows XP SP2), and found something surprising in the results : amd64 at 2400MHz linux32 -> 1814 linux64 -> 1946 win32 -> 2004 So performance is much better in Linux 64 bit than in 32 bit, while both are slower than native windows system. Is it normal, I mean does anyone else obtain

TE410P alarms stay RED with 1.4.22
Hi, I tried "upgrading" from debian's 1.4.21.2 package to vanilla 1.4.22 but then my TE410P alarms stay RED and no zap channels can be created, even if they are correctly listed by "zap show channels". I tried adding "dahdichanname = no" to asterisk.conf's [options] to no effect. Going back to 1.4.21.2 brings my alarms back to OK. This is with zaptel

ext3 4TB FS limit (FAQ)
Hi, I've a question about the max. ext3 FS size. The ext3 FAQ explains that the limit is 4TB. http://batleth.sapienti-sat.org/projects/FAQs/ext3-faq.html | Ext3 can support files up to 1TB. With a 2.4 kernel the filesystem size is | limited by the maximal block device size, which is 2TB. In 2.6 the maximum | (32-bit CPU) limit is of block devices is 16TB, but ext3 supports only up | to 4TB.

Q about msan : mapping 4TB
Hi, Porting msan to the Cavium T99 chip requires a VMA mapping of 4TB. The brute-force way of doing this would be by collecting memory segments that weren't mapped - from the results of the msan test harness - and creating mapped segments ranges. Lather, rinse, repeat until all the addressable segments are mapped in msan.h. But I was wondering if there isn't a more efficient way of

Format big drives (4TB) in the installer?
Hi all; I cross posted this to the fedora list since we use Fedora as a test bed from time to time, however given this is a production server we'll likely be running CentOS. we've just ordered a new server (http://www.spectrumservers.com/ssproducts/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=26&idproduct=787) Originally I tried to simply upgrade an older server with more drive space, I

How to create a huge file system - 3-4TB?
We have a server with about 6x750Gb SATA drives setup on a hardware RAID controller. We created hardware RAID 5 on these 6x750GB HDDs. The effective size after RAID 5 implementation is 3.4TB. This server we want to use it as a data backup server. Here is the problem we are stuck with, when we use fdisk -l, we can see the drive specs and its size as 3.4TB. But when we want to create two different

Rsync 4TB datafiles...?
I need to rsync 4 TB datafiles to remote server and clone to a new oracle database..I have about 40 drives that contains this 4 TB data. I would like to do rsync from a directory level by using --files-from=FILE option. But the problem is what will happen if the network connection fails the whole rsync will fail right. rsync -a srchost:/ / --files-from=dbf-list and dbf-list would contain this:
